Only steps to beach - the BEST location

You can't beat the location -- this charming house is only 3 houses from the beach!! We've been staying in various rentals in Harwichport for years, but this is the first one we will be returning to stay in a second year in a row. The house and kitchen are very well maintained, there is a picnic table on the back porch for outside dining, the bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable with either window A/Cs or fans, and my son especially loved the ping pong table in the basement :) The washer/dryer are very helpful, and there are plenty of beach chairs. The street is very quiet and is only a 10-15 min pleasant walk to all the restaurants and shops in downtown Harwichport. We can't wait to return next year! show more show less

The proximity to the beach was so convenient! Both the street and the beach were quiet, which we found to be a positive. The house was immaculate when we arrived, and is obviously well-kept. The refrigerator looked new, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable, the bedrooms were spacious, and window fans were provided for the 3 bedrooms without A/C. The Washer/Dryer in the basement was very useful. There were also some beach toys in the basement for use by renters. We did not have the opportunity to use the ping pong table this time around. The back deck and shower were perfect.

We were so fortunate to have found this house, and had a terrific week there in July 2021. For context, we (family of 5, with kids ranging from 9 to 14) have been renting in the neighborhood each summer for the past 10 years or so, and have fallen in love with it. When our prior home sold to new owners and became unavailable, we wouldn't consider looking anywhere else - this area of Harwich Port is the quintessential Cape Cod beach community with classic Cape homes, a stretch of wide private beach that never gets crowded, and only a short walk to the Harwich Port shops and Restaurants.

The house itself is only two back from the beach, so the location is practically unbeatable – you can see the water when you walk out the front door. The house is impeccable, well laid-out, and the owners, who are wonderful to work with, have thought of everything a family would need while staying. The backyard/deck area is private and well landscaped – a great place to cook out and relax after the beach.

This is a lovely, simply appointed cape, with a well equipped kitchen and a great deck just off the back of the house. Best part? It's just steps from the beach. Need a refresh on your beverages? More sunscreen? You hardly need to put on your sandals for a quick trip back to the house. Otherwise, a nice, quiet neighborhood, everything was clean and working. We hope to return!

Our family of 5 has rented this property the last 2 summers and looks forward to our next trip! This clean and well appointed home has plenty of comfortable space to feel right at home. The kitchen has everything you'll need including sharp knives!!!! House highlights include outdoor dining space & gas grill, outdoor shower, newer full sized laundry. Location highlights: steps away from a family friendly beach which includes a tide pool for exploring, a long jetty perfect for fishing and watching the boats come in and out of Allen's Harbor, a short walk/bike ride to bumper boats, go-karts, ice cream, and Harwichport center. Owners have always been available and highly responsive to any questions or concerns that we've had. We've loved staying here and hope to return again and again! show more show less

Jennifer, we were so happy with house. We were there for our daughters wedding at Wychmere and the location couldn't have been better. We found the house to be well stocked, charming and very clean. We would not hesitate to recommend this to our friends or come back ourselves.
