Quiet, central air, comfortable, short walk to the beach

We spent a week in this well maintained house located a short distance to the ocean. You can smell the salty air in this very peaceful neighborhood. Brian told us his house is stocked with everything we would need, as if we were visiting a relative's home. He was absolutely correct. Everything you could want was provided. Brian is a wonderful host who goes out of his way to be helpful as you plan your stay.

A well appointed, pristine cottage that continues to deliver the perfect Cape experience. The home is immaculate and includes everything necessary for a true beach vacation. The breezeway and backyard patio are the perfect spot after a day at the beach. Brian is a wonderful host and his attention to details shows in his beautiful home and property. We have already booked for next year!

We had a wonderful stay- the home was comfortable, clean and in a great location. We enjoyed the nearby beach and simply relaxing on the patio. House had everything we needed for the week and the homeowner was very easy to work with and genuinely interested in making sure his guests enjoyed their stay.

We had a lovely time in this wonderful home! Everything was as advertised, and Brian was prompt with communication and generous with his time and his help regarding anything we needed and any questions we had. The location was great -- we had many pleasant strolls on the beach, dined at nearby restaurants and bought fish for the BBQ at the Swan River fish market. We felt completely at home and hope to return next summer. We've been visiting the Cape for more than 40 years and our daughters, who were with us part of the time, said, "This is the best rental we've ever had!"

The cottage was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. The neighborhood is lovely with a short walk to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked with everything from dishes to spices. The grill and washer and dryer were new. We really enjoyed staying here and hope to rent the cottage again.

A comfortable,cosy,well equipped home on a quiet street.Quick walk to private beach.We enjoyed the breezeway and park like patio, with a new gas grill.A treat! Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay in this cottage for several weeks. We loved being so close and walking to the beach. The AC worked great to keep us cool after the beach days. They had everything we needed for our stay. The location is perfect and close to everything. Would definitly stay here again!

Our family vacations on Cape Cod every year. This year, it was just my husband and I. We rented this home and will definitely rent it again in the future. The owner, Brian, is incredibly warm and responsive; the home is clean and neat, located on a quiet street; the walk to the beach is less than 5 minutes; the walk into town is flat and easy - and long enough to get our steps in every day!

Had a wondaful family vacation. The property is in a convenient location, and being able to walk to the bead instead of drive was a nice luxury. Beach chairs and beach toys were a great plus.

Also this was the cleanest rental I've ever experienced, and the owner was very responsive and helpful.

The space is not huge but big enough, and we felt very comfortable there.

What a wonderful house! We loved the location and the short walk to a quiet little beach...a great spot for your morning coffee.The house was very clean and comfortable. The central air and the washer/dryer were a big plus! The new, clean beach chairs were perfect for our 8 hours days at Mayflower Beach! They were a very welcomed sight for us since packing beach chairs was not an option. The outdoor shower came in handy since right now there is only one bathroom. But the new master bath is in the works and looks beautiful so far!

Brian was a great host and returned calls quickly to answer any questions that we had before and during our stay. We hope to be back next year!

We have been going to the Cape 10+ years using this website to find properties. This was the BEST rental thus far. The location is PERFECT with a small private beach just as described. There were several days where we were the only people on the beach!

Brian responded to my initial request within an hour via phone. We discussed the property and he answered my questions providing additional details and information about the house. Brian also checked in on us (via text) during our stay to ensure everything was satisfactory.

The property is a classic Cape home that has been impeccably maintained. The neighborhood was extremely quiet with no traffic. The breezeway was ideal for morning coffee, or relaxing with a cocktail in the evening. The guest bath appeared brand new, as were the stacked washer and dryer. Although we did not use it there is a new propane grill outside, as well as new beach chairs. There is a nice outdoor patio with table and chairs.

Plenty of space to spread out and relax, two full bathrooms and an outdoor shower made getting ready a snap with no waiting. Huge bonus- central air conditioning! The sleeper sofa in the living room adds to the versatility and gave my kids their own spaces and privacy. Everything was spotless, including the outdoor shower! I would not hesitate to book this property again!
