Wonderful Family Vacation Home! We fit 6 adults and 2 children comfortably in this home. The kitchen provided ample space for cooking, as well as any cooking dish you may need. The grill was easily accessible and the back patio was comfortable and shady for meals. Our two favorite parts;
1. This home is immaculate. You feel completely comfortable, as if you were in your own home.
2. Our two dogs were so happy running around the yard while we took outdoor showers, grilled or made s'mores by the fire pit.

The cherry on top was the handwritten note from Kriste, as well as dog treats for the pups and bubbles for the kids.

Kristie has a lovely home and beautifully landscaped yard suitable for larger groups and pets.
This is our 2nd time staying at the rental, it is very clean, centrally located and has plenty of room for large families.
The homeowner is responsive and helpful.
We highly recommend this rental and plan on visiting again.

This was our 2nd year staying at Kriste's immaculate 4 bedroom home in Harwich. We are seasoned cape vacationers and absolutely love this home. We chose this home because pets are welcome and there's ample room for our family of six and space for a couple more. The large, private backyard is perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach and has a fire pit with 4 Adirondack chairs.
The beds are comfortable and bed linens and towels, including beach towels, are provided.
The modern kitchen has everything you need if you decide to stay home and cook.
I would highly recommend staying at Kriste's for your next vacation.

Great vacation home for large families. Very clean and accommodating with spacious rooms. Nice deck for meals outdoors and large backyard for kids to play.
This was our second year at Slack Tide and again very pleased with our stay.

Our family (six adults and three children, along with two of our furry companions) spent two wonderful weeks in East Harwich at this beautiful home, Slack Tide. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out, but great spaces to come together as well. The new lawn is great - the kids were able to play wiffle ball, frisbee and other games in the big backyard (outdoor toys are provided as well) and the adults enjoyed the fire pit. It's only a short ride to Red River Beach as well as to several of our favorite spots (Brax, Sundae School Ice Cream, Harwichport, the Harwich Mariners games, etc). We went into Chatham to see the seals at the Pier and eat some delicious takeout on the picnic tables there as well.

All in all you could not ask for a better location or for better owners, who live nearby and are very attentive. The home is immaculate and well stocked with everything you need to get started on a great vacation (linens, towels, pots, pans, utensils, spices, games, cards, even dog bowls! And more!). We are definitely looking forward to coming back in summer 2023!

Our stay here was above and beyond our expectations. The house was equipped with anything you could need. Comfortable, very clean, beautifully decorated and great location! The owners even made sure we had everything we needed. Great deck out back to enjoy dinners, yard games, and a fire pit. We loved everything about this house and hope to visit again!

My family & friends were super comfortable and happy here, with plenty of space for indoor and outdoor activities. The entire property has been renovated with everything we wanted and needed, including board games and outdoor toys. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable with new bedding and towels. Slacktide is centrally located in Harwich, close to the bustle of Chatham, Brewster beaches for sunsets and the stunning beauty of the National Seashore and Wellfleet.

Kriste was responsive and kind and the guest packet useful. Highly recommended and would stay here again.

We were so pleased with our stay at Slack Tide this year. The house is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and fully stocked, including any kitchen utensil you could possibly think of! There are plenty of towels (including beach towels if needed) and the bed linens are provided. Our canine companions were welcome and the quiet neighborhood was perfect for both the dogs and the children.

The location is wonderful - a five minute drive to Red River Beach, which was our go-to beach. There are shops, restaurants, grocery stores and ice cream parlors all within a short drive. The home is very close to the Chatham line so were able to easily explore that beautiful spot as well.

The owner (Kriste) was attentive and friendly - even leaving bubbles for the kids and treats for the dogs. All in all, we are definitely looking forward to a return in summer 2022!

We absolutely loved this home.

It was incredibly clean, well appointed and slept 10 comfortably.
The back yard had a lovely fire pit, a large deck and outdoor shower.

The homeowner was attentive to any questions we had and we thoroughly enjoyed out time here. This home is very close to Nauset Beach and the National Seashore, Harwich Port, Brewster, Chatham and Orleans are a short drive.

We would highly recommend this Vacation rental and will likely return.

My family and I had a wonderful time at this year's vacation. My only suggestion is that the bedroom with twin beds could really use a bureau. I do hang some clothes but I would love to put my ironed cloths in drawers and use the top of a bureau for other things. But, over all the house is great. PS we all loved the fire pit, we bought a couple of wood bundles and really loved having our fire. THANKS FOR A FUN WEEK!!

We've stayed at many summer rentals over the years and this home was immacutately clean and modern. Very spacious for large groups. We had 9 adults and 2 toddlers and did not feel crowded at all. Great deck and large back yard for family gatherings. A nice added touch, not only were the linens provided but the beds made up for us! Would definitely recommend as a beautiful vacation home to spend time relaxing!

Slack Tide is probably the cleanest house we have ever rented in 16 years of coming to the Cape. It has a wonderful, well stocked kitchen that was easy to cook in for this multi-generational family of 9. Entire house was newly renovated so everything was clean and new. Parking was generous with room for 3 cars in the driveway and 2 in front of the house.

The owners were very helpful in answering any and all questions we had about the house.

Private, quiet back yard where you felt safe to let the kids play.

Don't hesistate, this is a great rental.

The large yard and quiet neighborhood was exactly what we were looking for. Thank you, Kriste, for your personal attention and treats and bubbles for the the dog and kiddos. You were so organized and helpful! The well-appointed kitchen was a huge help and time saver, loved the fire pit too. We will be back at Slack Tide in 2021!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. Fresh and new from top to bottom with top of line finishes and appliances. Sitting on a large yard on a quiet cul-de-sac within a 3 minute drive to the beach. Close to Chatham and 20 minutes to Coast Guard Beach.

This home exceeded my expectations! I never know if we will have to clean top to bottom before I unpack...not at slack tide! House was super clean, well equipped and really well maintained. I'd recommend this home without hesitation (and I'm really picky!!!).

We have stayed in many rental properties on the Cape over the years, and this home was one of the best! It is bright, clean and has plenty of space for the 7 people in our family. The renovated kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful! We liked the large yard and proximity to the rail trail, Harwich and Chatham beaches, some of our favorite restaurants and the downtown Chatham area. Kriste was a kind and attentive host. We would be happy to return sometime!

We have rented on the Cape many times in different locations, this was one of our favorite rentals. It was clean, up to date, Spacious for our family of five and we were allowed to bring our small dog. The owners have thought of everything and are very responsive. Beautiful deck to enjoy the sunshine and centrally located to all of our favorite spots! Would absolutely recommend and rent again!

My husband, our two daughters and my folks enjoyed an awesome week at "Slack Tide"! The home is beautiful and spacious, recently renovated, and the A/C was fabulous. It is located on a quiet culd-a-sac and close to nice beaches and restaurants. We hope to stay on future vacations!

Every year we try at a different house up and down the Cape. This house was very clean, with modern interior and modern appliances, and the owner was very responsive to our needs. We have two border collies and kids, and the property was good for running them and playing games. Also being in a cul-de-sac was nice. The location of the house made it convenient to visit P-town or to take the ship to the Martha's Vineyard. Because we have dogs, we only used the National Seashore beaches—a short drive away. Overall we felt that they took care and pride in their property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! This was a well-maintained, nicely updated, decorated and very clean home in a quiet neighborhood. We really appreciated that all linens were provided, including sheets, bath and beach towels! And the linens were all very nice. As a family who travels a lot and is not from this area, we were stunned and turned off by the number of rentals that did not provide linens when we were looking for a place to stay. The owner lives across the street and came over after we checked in to introduce herself...very nice and helpful with recommendations for things to do! We especially loved the outdoor shower and the beautiful, well-appointed kitchen. Can"t wait to visit again!

Our family recently had the pleasure of a week's stay at Kriste's property, Slack Tides. We usually stay at pet-friendly homes or condos for our family vacations because we like to have our very clean, very well mannered dog along with us. While this may backfire due to the condition of some pet-friendly properties, Kriste's property was the exception. It was inviting and comfortable as any family could hope for. This home was clearly newly renovated, clean, crisp and as comfortable as any family could hope for. It was appointed with all new bathrooms, kitchen, central air, and had that "new home" feel. Bravo, Kriste, for a job well done. We look forward to our next stay at Slack Tides.

Kriste's Harwich home was quite possibly the most well-appointed rental home we've ever stayed in on the Cape! The home was newly renovated, impeccably clean, and comfortably furnished. Linens, towels, kitchen tools, grill tools, games, books were all provided at the home. The washer and dryer were great to have as well, and the backyard fire pit and outdoor shower truly added to the Cape vacation experience! Communication with Kriste, the homeowner, was great as she was very responsive and easy to get in touch with. The location of the home is also perfect- very close to Chatham and Harwichport main streets and beaches. We look forward to returning!

We absolutely loved our stay at “Slack Tides”!! The home is newly renovated and so clean and uncluttered!!! Everything is new! The kitchen is spacious and complete, including a full spice rack. Big outdoor fire pit with seating, nice deck, new outdoor shower. The bedrooms are spacious. Super location on a quiet street. Kriste is so welcoming, friendly and available if you have any questions. We brought our dog and he loved it, too! Kriste even had some dog treats for him! The house is perfect for your family vacation. We will definitely be back!

The whole house was brand new on the inside. Very nice kitchen appliances, dishes and utensils. Clean bathrooms and comfortable living areas. It’s on a quiet street and only a 3 minute drive to the ocean. My family didn’t want to leave.

I recently visited Cape Cod for a reunion with 8 friends. Kriste could not have been more helpful throughout the whole rental process. She was able to give us recommendations on what beaches we should go to, what golf courses to go to and also the best restaurants in town. The location is perfect as it is a short drive to either downtown Harwich or downtown Chatham. Red River Beach is one of the nicest beaches I have been to on Cape Cod. As for the rental property, it was perfect. This property easily slept 9 of us. I would recommend to any large family or for a family reunion. We spent the majority of our time in the large backyard. Kriste made the entire rental process extremely easy for us. I have already recommended this property to family and friends and would recommend to anyone looking to vacation on Cape Cod.

We rented this house for 4th of July and the days after. The house is all new and beautiful. We found everything we needed ready for us and the owner is really helpful and welcoming.

The home is quiet and has a good size back yard- still very close to the beach and everything around. We had very good time and will be back again.
