    This house was perfect for a week away with my husband. The house was very clean and updated. The sunroom off the kitchen was a perfect place to relax after a day at the beach. The patio was also a great place to relax in the evening. It was walking distance to the beach which was very convenient. The owners were very responsive and very helpful with any questions we had. We will return.

    Ideal vacation rental!

    I had the pleasure of renting this Harwichport property for a week and it was excellent. It was extremely clean, well equipped, quiet, and beautifully furnished, with a peaceful and spacious yard and patio. It is in an ideal location. Close to Red River Beach, restaurants, shopping and the bike trail. Less than 1/4 mile from seal watching cruises and the ferry to Nantucket. I highly recommend this property for 2 or 3 people! It offers a truly relaxing slice of old Cape Cod!

    Great Escape to the Cape

    My husband and I wanted to escape to the Cape and this was the perfect vacation rental. Charming home that is bright, clean and comfortable and has all the amenities we needed. The hammock, outdoor shower and enclosed patio made the back yard a peaceful retreat. The location is convenient and close to great restaurants, shopping in downtown Harwich Port and biking on the Cape Code rail trail. Schoolhouse Ice Cream and Red River Beach are just minutes away by foot or by bike. The proximity to the beach was a definite bonus. The homeowners were great and responded to all our questions promptly and even had some great suggestions on things to do and place to eat! show more show less

    We are offering our family summer-home as a rental for the first time! Since this home isn't used as a full-time rental, it is consistently cared for and will be offered to you with the same comfort we expect for ourselves.

    We are a teacher and nurse and enjoy spending time with our two boys, especially at the beach!

    We live just north of Boston and have enjoyed vacationing in Harwich Port for many years; we never run out of things to do and will be sure to provide you with some of our favorite spots while you visit.

    What is special about this property?
    We love the location of our property. It has a residential feel and our home is situated with a large yard offering the opportunity to be outside as much as possible. Catch & Release is conveniently located to everything!. . the beach, restaurants, the harbor and downtown. No matter what you feel like doing, our rental is an easy home-base for your Cape Cod vacation.

    We also love the comfort of our home with its modern amenities. We enjoy the central a/c at night, the updated electrical service (no issues running the microwave and tv at the same time!) and we pride ourselves on keeping a clean home.


    What is special about your town?
    Harwich Port offers a great balance of quintessential Cape Cod with the offerings people look for while on vacation. It provides a great home-base to take day trips to the outer Cape, one block away is the ferry to Nantucket and yet there's so much to do in just a few minutes drive. This includes enjoying downtown Harwich Port, exploring Chatham, enjoying the largest fresh water lake on Cape Cod and a wide variety of very good restaurants. You can also walk from our cottage to public beaches, ice cream/restaurants and ride your bike to pick up the Cape Cod Rail Trail.
