We truly had the best birthday trip ever! This home was the perfect place to celebrate such a special weekend with some of my closest friends. The property was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed to relax, spend time together, and enjoy our time on Cape Cod. It really gave us the space to slow down, enjoy each other's company, and make some wonderful memories that I will always look back on fondly. As always, Greg and Stephanie were incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating, which made the experience even more special. I am so grateful we had the opportunity to stay here and celebrate my birthday in such a beautiful setting. We had an amazing time and would absolutely love to come back!

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful Harwich property for a mother/daughter weekend, and it truly exceeded every expectation. The title of the listing does not lie - it truly felt like our own private oasis. In fact, the house was so comfortable and thoughtfully equipped that we never felt the need to leave!

The home was impeccably clean and beautifully maintained. The kitchen deserves special mention—it was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare and enjoy family-style meals together, from cookware to serving pieces and all the little extras that make a vacation feel effortless.

The outdoor space is what really sets this property apart. The pool is a luxury oasis, perfect for relaxing, swimming, and spending quality time together. A fire pit was available with comfortable chairs surrounding it. Plus, ample seating for all in every location!

Whether you're planning a family vacation, a girls' getaway, or a gathering with friends, the layout and amenities make it easy to create lasting memories right at the house.

Another huge plus for families is the included laundry. Being able to wash clothes and towels during our stay made packing lighter and the trip much more convenient. We also appreciated that beach towels and all the accessories needed for pool and beach days were provided, eliminating the need to bring so much from home.

Every detail seems to have been considered, creating a warm, welcoming environment that balances comfort, convenience, and luxury. This is the perfect retreat for families and friends looking to reconnect, relax, and enjoy everything Cape Cod has to offer. We can't wait to come back!

Greg & Stephanie have thought of everything in this Cape rental home. We had everything we needed from brewing a cup of coffee in the morning to roasting marshmallows by the fire, and all the pool/hot tub entertainment in between! We really enjoyed the outdoor space - including the playset for the kids, dining al fresco, and the pool house. The hosts were very easy to work with, answering our questions ahead of and during our stay. We will certainly be back!

Beautiful home in Harwich MA. Minutes from cute downtown, restaurants, bike path and beaches. Enough room for multiple generations or families with an amazing backyard and pool area. Loved the bikes and children's toys for all ages! Will definitely back next year! Thanks!

Our family had a great week in Harwich, Ma at Idle Way. The weather cooperated (4 day heat wave in Boston, but temperatures were a little cooler at the Cape). All ages loved the pool and hot tub. We had some competitive games of pool volleyball! We used the fire pit and made s'mores at night …it was nice to be able to sit around the fire and talk …. as hectic schedules usually don't allow time during the week. There is space for everyone… teenagers used the basement room to watch the FIFA soccer games. plenty of pool floats and toys for younger children. Kids loved the bunk room …like going to camp!
The hosts Stephanie and Greg have provided everything that you would need PLUS. It was awesome not having to bring linens and towels, pretty much every condiment you could want, plus coffees and paper goods! The location is central …Beaches, restaurants, and shopping were quickly accessible . We give it a 5 STAR rating! You can't go wrong with this property!

We stayed here for a girls getaway and could not have had a better experience. The house was beautifully decorated, clean and spacious. We were so impressed by the host's attention to detail. Every time we thought we might need something, it was there—from extra pillows to kitchen essentials and a fully stocked coffee bar! It was clear that a lot of thought was put into making the space comfortable for anyone who stays.
Communication was great, they were very responsive and easy to work with.

The yard and pool area were amazing; we never left the property! It was like being at our own private resort. Would absolutely stay again!

We had a wonderful long weekend at this lovely home! The a/c in the house works well, the pool, hot tub, and pool shed are fenced off from the rest of the yard and incredible, and the place is stocked with toys and activities for kids. We also enjoyed several rides on the rail trail nearby. We've rented a variety of houses on the Cape over the last 7 years and this is our favorite!

There is just a wonderful aura when you enter "Idle Way" - every detail is carefully thought out, from the stocked spice cabinet to the toys and life preservers at the pool! The home is spacious and offers plenty of space for the family to hang out! Although the weather wasn't great the week we were there, we managed to utilize the pool, hot tub and fire pit. We thoroughly enjoyed the home, the amenities and the location and would highly recommend it!

My family of 4 (along with a few of my teenagers' friends) stayed at the property for the week of July 4th. I cannot say enough good things about the property and the owners, Stephanie and Greg. The backyard was absolutely amazing—the pool, hot tub, firepit, made our stay unforgettable! Stephanie and Greg have thought of absolutely everything you may need while on vacation and provide it in the house (think chargers, speakers, towels, etc.!) Indoors was nice as well: plenty of space to cook, eat, and lounge, plus comfy beds and spotless cleanliness.

We just got back from our vacation at Idle Way and we haven't stopped raving about it! My husband and I took our 3 kids (ages 9, 6 and 6) to Harwich to celebrate the end of school and were lucky enough to stay at Idle Way. It is truly the perfect place for families. Not only is the pool AMAZING and fantastic for kids (it has steps in and goes from 3 feet to 5 feet - plus it's salt water AND it's heated!) but there is also a pool house with beach towels and a Sonos sound system, a hot tub, pool floaties, and plenty of deck chairs and umbrellas. And it's gated off. It's better than a hotel! The rest of the yard is also fabulous - beautiful grass, a small play structure, a hammock, a fab deck with a Weber grill, and a beautiful patio area with a Solo stove fire "pit," perfect for making S'Mores. The house is also fantastic. Tons of space, a basement for kids with a TV and fooz ball, nice spacious bedrooms, immaculately clean bathrooms, and a kitchen fully stocked with all the essentials like paper towels and coffee. All we had to do was buy food for the week - everything else was taken care of, from sheets to towels to paper goods to fire wood. As a working mom who never really feels like a vacation is a vacation because of all the planning and organizing involved, I can truly say this was a true vacation for me. My husband and kids were also in heaven. We made so many core memories with our kids and are so grateful to have found Idle Way. Highlight for families with kids - a super cool "bunk room" with two sets of bunk beds plus a trundle and a book case full of great children's books, as well as a bunch of bikes in the garage for many ages and stages. We were super close to town and plenty of ice cream shops, and a hop skip and a jump from the beautiful local beaches. The house was so well organized, clean as a whistle, and comfy cozy! I can't wait to book our next vacation at Idle Way!

This was our fifth year renting Idle Way and we have been incredibly happy with our stay during this time! This year was even more fantastic with the addition of the pool, hot tub and outdoor cabana area. The pool was extremely warm and our 3 kids used it at every opportunity that they had while my husband and I enjoyed our coffee and cocktails watching them swim from the comfortable outdoor lounge seating. We also enjoyed sitting in the hot tub after the kids were in bed enjoying the peaceful backyard. The house continues to be extremely comfortable, clean, well stocked and spacious- everything you could want for your week away on the cape. The owners, Stephanie and Greg are incredibly responsive and do everything they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

WOW! Five girlfriends traveled from five states to relax and enjoy Cape Cod. Idle Way was the perfect landing pad. What an outstanding home for us to enjoy our time together! This home was so well appointed with everything we needed to have an amazing vacation. Communication was outstanding with Stephanie and she was always quick to respond to any questions we had. To say we enjoyed our stay at Idle Way is an understatement for sure. The pool area was so relaxing and had plenty of space for us to spread out. The backyard was a great space for us to enjoy a delicious dinner and relax around the firepit to enjoy one another's company. The beds were all really comfortable and the linens were soft and luxurious. Idle Way was close to everything. We would love to return and enjoy this fantastic home again!

We had the best time staying at Greg and Stephanie's home in Harwich! They have a quiet tree-lined street next to some amazing food, trails, and beaches are a quick drive. We felt like we were in a very central location that was quiet and serene at the same time. Coming from the city, this was the perfect place for us to decompress, relax and unwind. Our toddler loved all of the family's toys and books, and was loving the slide and play fort out in their lovely backyard. They have thought of everything while setting up their home, and even have a basket of small toiletries in case you forgot toothpaste etc. We only wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed more time in the backyard grilling! We managed to get two bike rides in using their equipment and my son loved sitting in the bike trailer while we biked around the rail trail. The entrance to the trails is soooo close, and makes it really easy to get on/ off without stressing about biking on too many main roads.
We bought a week-long beach pass and explored a lot of the ocean beaches just a five to ten minute drive away, and some of the fresh water beaches are even closer. We can't wait to go back to Harwich! Greg and Stephanie have amazing food and sightseeing recommendations. We would highly recommend staying at their home, Idle Way!

We had a wonderful family vacation at this lovely home. It had everything inside and outside to make our vacation easy,fun and memorable . The backyard was perfect for cookouts and s'mores and the children loved the playhouse. The location is excellent with a short drive to beaches. And walking distance to the rail trail, playground, and free tennis courts. A perfect vacation spot.

Greg & Stephanie truly have thought of everything with their rental! From phone chargers on the night stands, to baby proofing for our little ones, to beach gear and so much more. Traveling in from NC with five little ones isn't easy but having so many amenities (like a pack n play and monitor) already there for us was beyond helpful. The hosts were easy to communicate with a left clear and easy instructions. Highly, highly recommend this house if you've got little kids (and even if you don't)! They'll be entertained and happy! My family doesn't get together often as we're spread out across the US but the house provided the perfect place for lots of memories to be made together. We can't wait to return one day! Thank you!

We were so happy to spend our Spring break vacation week in this beautiful house. It has a lot of amenities for indoor and outdoor fun. The house was clean, inviting, and very comfortable with plenty of space to spread out. Everything that this house offers during the summertime wasn't fully set up, but it was made all available for our use if we wanted to. My son and two of his friends who came to visit us had a great time egg-hunting in the backyard on Easter Sunday, and with all the activities/entertainment in the basement.

Location was a plus. Easy access to the main routes (Routes 28, 6, and 39) that takes you anywhere you want to explore. Super close to the cute downtown, local beaches, a playground, bike trail, and much more.

Greg and Stephanie were great hosts. Greg was responsive and very easy to talk to. He was available to answer questions and relaying info. Thanks Greg and Stephanie for your flexibility and the welcoming gift. And many thanks again for sharing your beautiful and relaxing house with us. We can't wait to come back.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The moment we walked through the door we could feel the home's warmth and were impressed by the aesthetics of the decor as well as how spacious it was.

There was both room to gather in common areas or find a place for some peace and quiet. We found the basement area was a perfect spot for our adult children to enjoy.

The attention to detail did not go unnoticed. So many conveniences were provided, including a coded keypad entry, charging station, smart home features, hallway nightlights, fully equipped kitchen, ample places to sleep, cozy blankets and more. There was even a beautifully decorated Christmas tree!

Although I am sure this would also be a wonderful summer rental, with its close proximity to beaches and outstanding outdoor spaces, if you are looking for a getaway, I would highly recommend staying here any time of year.

We feel fortunate to have shared time with family over the holiday in this lovely home.

We had a group of 7 old friends stay here for a weekend golf tournament. The home was so spacious and in a perfect location to everything we needed in and around Harwich. The outdoor deck and patio with the lighting was absolutely incredible. We weren't able to spend a ton of time at the house and enjoying the outside areas, but we thoroughly enjoyed every second that we were there and actually wish we had more time to spend at the house because it was so great.

The home was clean, the beds were so comfortable, and the amenities were perfect. Greg and Stephanie are amazing hosts and were super easy to work with throughout the booking process right through our stay.

I had an issue with one of the key locks and called Greg and he walked me through the situation immediately. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home, your fantastic hospitality, and we hope to come back next year!

We had the opportunity to stay at Idle Way for two weeks in August. This house was more than we could have asked for. It had EVERYTHING we needed as well as everything extra for two young kids. The location was perfect, on a quiet street, walk to breakfast and the park, hop right on the bike trail, and a huge backyard for the kids to play the wide variety of games that came with the house including a bounce house, cornhole, can jam, and a variety of bikes and scooters. My husband and I loved being able to work out on the trx and ride the Peloton everyday, which was such a treat for someone who doesn't own one. The four bedrooms are all a good size and there was ample space to spread out and not get in each other's way.

We loved the personal touches as well like the reusable branded cups, the personalized door code, and the supplies and snacks that were there for us upon arrival.

I can't say enough great things about this house and the owners. The owners are fantastic and were in constant communication before and during our stay. We already booked our two weeks for next summer :)

We had an amazing time at Idle Way in Harwich. The house is immaculate, very well organized, clean and the decor is so inviting. The outdoor patio area is fantastic with plenty of room and amenities for the entire family to enjoy. Close to Harwich beaches and downtown Harwichport, this house has it all!

My family and friends had the pleasure spending a week in this large home that had been recently updated in 2020/2021.

When I rent a vacation home we want an outstanding location and this house has it! Cape Cod Bike Path is crazy close, all the Beaches/Restaurant/Shops in Harwichport less than 1.5 Miles away, and a great launching spot to our favorite places in Chatham, Orleans and Dennis.

When we got back to this home, we were able to unwind and relax in 4 good sized bedrooms (two on the first floor and two on the second), 2 Full bathrooms and a private large deck in the backyard to enjoy lunch or dinner. When the sun sets, we threw wood in the Yukon Solo Stove and enjoyed our drinks and smores almost every night.

The owners Greg & Stephanie where great to deal with throughout the entire process and we we very surprised how well this home accommodated our needs as renters. This is a smart home and we appreciated all the power stations throughout the home! There is also a Peloton Bike where the owners have created a Guest Account for use during your stay! The list goes on and on with Lawn Games, Hammocks, Outdoor Shower, Lights which turn on with your voice, etc...

I have no words to describe how amazing of a stay we had!! I already was blown out of the water from the clear communication from the owners, to every resource possible to assist with our stay, then when we arrived it blew me out of the water even more! This home offered everything possible, especially for those with kiddos. Everyone in our group repeatedly stated how amazing the stay was and how we can't wait to return next year!

Don't pass this one up if it's on your list of possible vacation rentals! Go relax at "Idle way" with your family/friends, you won't regret it!

We spent Christmas time and the house was absolutely perfect! Our kids enjoyed the yard and the book corner while we enjoyed the quiet of Cape Cod and cooking meals in the kitchen for the holidays! Highly recommend and will be back!

Our family had a wonderful week down on the Cape and we were lucky to stay at this cute and spacious house! It was clean, beautifully updated and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The living room was very nice, the couches comfortable, and there was a good sized dining room table off the kitchen to eat at. The kitchen was very functional and well stocked. The back deck, outdoor shower and grill (with extra propane tanks) were all brand new and fantastic and the central AC made the house very comfortable. We stayed in the first floor bedroom and our three boys shared the bunk bed room right across the hall. Upstairs is pretty spacious and private with two bedrooms and a nice bathroom. It is great for families that want to split the house together but also have a little space apart while under the same roof. We plan on coming back in the Summer of 2021!
