Just a one-minute walk from the beach, this vintage cottage is ideal for couples and small families who want to be just steps to the beach and a short walk to downtown Harwich Port. Located in one of the most classic & desirable Cape Cod neighborhoods, this cozy cottage is also perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. An outdoor shower, a bedroom for the adults, and a small bunk room for the kids make this a cottage that draws repeat guests year after year.

The kitchen is fully stocked if you choose to cook in, and there is a grill outside for your use. There are many restaurants that will deliver in the area as well. Cozy 480 square foot interior with propane stove to cozy up to on cool summer nights. In classic Cape Cod rental style, you provide your own bed linens and towels. You can bring them with you or rent from one of the many linen services on the Cape that will deliver and pick-up for you.

Located in the historic ‘Campground’ area, this neighborhood has that vintage Cape Cod vibe. Classic style cottages and houses close to one another but still retaining privacy. Kids walking and riding bikes on the quiet roads, neighbors walking to the beach, and so close to the town and restaurants that no car is needed to go out at night.

    Periwinkle Cottage

    My husband and I stayed at Periwinkle Cottage in Harwichport for our annual family vacation. This was our first year renting in Harwichport and I could not be happier with the decision we made to stay at the Periwinkle! It was perfect for just the two of us, but there is also a second room with bunk beds for kids or a guest.

    The cottage was walking distance to downtown and the beach, where we spent most of our time. The beach was lovely, not overly crowded, friendly people, and a very easy walk from the cottage. I loved the quaint Cape style neighborhood and the cozy cottage. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, perfect for morning coffee and evening strolls.

    Emily is a fantastic host and very responsive in all communications. There is no air conditioning which is something to keep in mind, however keeping the windows open for the cool Cape breeze helps! I highly recommend Periwinkle Cottage to anyone looking for a vacation rental in Harwichport!     show more show less

    We are a New Hampshire family that loves the Cape and have been bringing our children here for years. We finally decided to buy this cottage in Harwichport to use ourselves, and share with other couples and families looking to explore and enjoy the Cape!


    What is special about this property?
    This cottage is located in what used to be, and is still often referred to, as the 'Campgrounds.' The cottages and houses here still have hat old Cape Cod charm and a perfect location. We are steps away from the beach - a 2 minute walk. And a 5-6 minute walk into the town of Harwichport. You can park your car for the week and still have walking access to a different restaurant every night, and to the beach!

    What is special about your town?
    Harwichport is a wonderful town - small and quaint but full of restaurants and shops. Harwichport is well located to explore Chatham, Harwich and an easy drive up to Wellfleet and Provincetown.
