Our newly renovated 2100 sq. ft. home sits in a 1-acre lot, abounds in privacy, and is located within a 5-minute drive to the beautiful Bank Street and Red River beaches. If sand is not your thing, stay in and enjoy the private heated pool in an idyllic, secluded backyard (pool will be open May 15th to mid October). The backyard features mature plantings, including hydrangeas, and has plenty of space for the kids to play while you grill dinner on the patio.

Enjoy the local shops, cafés and restaurants in Harwich’s historic center or the quaint main street in Harwich Port, both are 1 mile from our home!

This is a Saturday to Saturday rental in the summer season

About our home:
- Hardwood floors greet you as you step inside an open concept two-story living room, open to the upper floor
- Inviting space with two sizable living rooms and ample seating for families, or multiple families
- First floor has a full bath and 2 bedrooms (queen and king + twin day bed with trundle)
- Second floor has a large bedroom with attached full bath (king + twin day bed with trundle)
- Every room has fresh linens, bath towels and pillows and lots of closet space
- Desk + chair setup in two bedrooms makes it perfect for remote work

Pool: Open Memorial Day to Mid-October
- The pool can be closed off with gates for safety around small children.
- Please keep pool safety in mind whenever children are nearby.
- Outdoor shower in the pool area

- We use green products to ensure safety for children, and sustainability for the environment

Some house rules:
- Parties/events are not allowed on this property
- No pets (owners have severe allergies)
- No loud music outdoors after 10 pm (please respect the neighbors)

- Bank street beach is 1.5 miles, a short 4 minute drive. Red River Beach is 2.5 miles and Pleasant Road Beach is 3 miles away
- Rail Trail bike path is 0.2 miles away with a paved path that goes all the way to Provincetown!
- Brooks Park is 0.3 miles away and has a playground, tennis courts, Pickleball courts, basketball courts, soccer field, Bocce Ball, etc.
- Brooks Free Library is a 10 minute walk to Harwich’s historic center
- Main Street Harwich Port is 1.5 miles away and has lots of quaint shops and restaurants both for adults and families, delicious home-made ice cream at Sundae School, a great $1 Oyster Happy Hour and outdoor bar at The Port, good spots to go for quick coffee and breakfast, or grab a sandwich to hit the beach only blocks away.
- Cruise lines are less than 2 miles away in Harwich Port for a day trip to Nantucket or private excursions!

This property is collectively owned by 3 families with young children. We have been close friends for years and frequently take trips to the cape together. We use the home ourselves for getaways and would love to share it with others.

What is special about this property?
We love coming to the cape and enjoying the beautiful beaches, bike paths, nature walks and quaint towns. We also love taking trips with our friends and having a place for the kids to play and explore together. We loved this property because it is spacious enough to host multiple families (or multiple generations) who might travel together, just like we do. We also loved the privacy of the backyard and pool, it has the perfect vacation feel! With small children, we are extremely cognizant of pool safety and we loved how this pool is configured to be gated and closed off when not in use.

The open layout of this home and the idyllic backyard that is bathed in sunshine during the day are our favourite features of the house. The landscaping was picturesque even close to winter (when we first saw it) and sitting on the back deck was instantly relaxing. The house was nowhere near the shape it is in now, but we felt driven to update its style and make it our own. It has been a labor of love and feels cosy yet luxurious. It is a beautiful escape for us whenever we feel like getting away.

What is special about your town?
We fell in love with the quaint town centers of Harwich and Harwich Port, both of which are walkable/bikeable from the house. The proximity to the beautiful Atlantic beaches was also a huge draw to this property, and bay beaches are a short drive away. The bike path is very close to our house.
