We had a wonderful time at this property and would absolutely rent here again! The location was fantastic - we loved being so close to Long Pond w/ access to paddleboards, kayaks, and the big floating mat. The "best of both worlds" title of the house is very true, because this Harwich location is perfect to make a quick drive to any ocean beach as well. The house is super close to the bike trail, with extra bikes available at the house to borrow. House is neat and clean and was the perfect size/layout for our family. Bedding, towels, all expected kitchen items, all available for use. Homeowners were responsive, accommodating and pleasant. Overall, zero issues, happy renters! show more show less

Best of Both Worlds was perfect for our first trip to the Cape. We came with three generations, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The back porch is lovely in the evenings, with a large grill, plenty of comfortable seating, and an outdoor television. We cooked a lot of meals in the kitchen, and it had everything we needed. The kids loved the downstairs space and had spirited competitions at the pool table. Since it was our first time, we wanted to see everything. The location was a great home base to take day trips to Provincetown, Wellfleet, Eastham, Yarmouth, and Orleans. On the days we stayed close to home, we spent most of our time at Long Pond, which was crystal clear and within walking distance. We went crabbing, fishing, attended a Cape League Baseball game, and biked on the trail (also within walking distance). The best part was that there were so many items included in the rental. When we had a beach day, there were enough chairs for the entire family, along with goggles and toys. The SUP and kayaks didn't get much use because we ran out of time, but it was so lovely to have them there if we had some free time. We rent here every summer and absolutely love it! My boys (now ages 15 & 12) love the pond toys – floating mat, SUPs, kayaks. They love the finished basement too, with video games, pool, and ping-pong. Location is great – close to the bike trail, as well as Route 6 for quick access to outer cape beaches, etc. The house is super clean, well equipped and the AC has saved us many times. We also love the sunroom and watching games/movies on the new outdoor TV. Kathy (Walpole MA)
