This Harwich Port Charmer is situated on the corner of Lower County Road & Wah Wah Taysee Road, just 2/10 of a mile from the neighborhood beach. The house boasts a sunny eat-in kitchen that leads to an enclosed screen porch with wicker furniture. The dining room leads out to an oversized deck complete with patio furniture and a gas grill. The deck is great for outside entertaining and moreover, it provides a perfect spot to watch children playing in the fully fenced-in yard. An outdoor shower is located in one corner of the deck - perfect for a rinse when you get home from the beach or an early morning run! The first floor includes a master bedroom with enough space for a crib or tot bed. The living room includes a Roku/Smart TV which is compatible with most major streaming services. The second floor contains another large master bedroom as well as two additional bedrooms each with two twin beds. Each floor also contains a full bathroom. Beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach toys, along with a wagon for bringing everything with you for your trip to the beach, can all be found in the garage.

Biking the Cape Cod Rail Trail, which runs from Dennis to Wellfleet, is a great way to explore the natural beauty of the Cape. The closest access point to the bike path is on Headwaters Drive in Harwich, approximately a 15-minute drive from the house. Kayaking or canoeing provides another way to view the Cape's natural beauty. Access to the Herring River is in West Harwich, approximately a 10-minute drive whereas, Swan Pond River access is in Dennis Port and approximately a 15-minute drive.

A family-friendly nine-hole golf course, mini-golf, go-carts, bumper boats, batting cages, zip line, and rock wall all within a 5-10 minute drive from the house. After (or before) your day at the beach, make sure to take a short 10-minute walk to downtown Harwich Port for shopping or dining. A quick walk down most of the streets in ''The Port'' will lead you to beautiful views of Nantucket Sound.

    Great house for family sharing

    We have rented this house 3 out of past 5 summers. House is always in great condition and owner makes improvements each year. Short walk to beach or into town without crossing busy Lower County Road. Older kids can walk to Dairy Queen or go-carts. Great yard for games. House has great deck in back with grill and screened in porch on side. Entertainment areas separated so children and adults have their own space.

    Highly recommend this house for a great summer vacation.

    Best rental in Harwichport for a big family

    We rented this charming property twice and have since rented other Cape homes, and this one is a favorite. The house is very large and stays cool inside despite the heat and humidity. Bedrooms are large and comfortable, especially for kids since there are 4 twin beds. We had 4 kids, the youngest being 3 at the time, and my elderly father who stayed in the large first floor bedroom. Deck out back is huge with an awesome grill and there's an outdoor shower. Easy walking distance to shops and ice cream place. Five minute walk to beach and all beach accessories provided, and this makes it much easier if you have little kids. Owner is easy to contact and very receptive and helpful and tries to make your stay as comfortable as possible. This was my favorite rental house.
