My family and I finally got back to stay in our happy place and were able to rent this house again. The house was was just as we remembered it and had everything we needed. The kids loved playing pool in the basement and we loved having dinners out on the deck. Our favorite part of this place is the back yard, its so private and peaceful. Everyone had fun at the Popponesset Spit for beach days and had a blast going up to the Marketplace listening to music and going to the Cafe and Raw Bar. All in all another great stay and Joe was an accommodating host. We hope to be back next year! show more show less

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely house. It was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The basement rec room was a big bonus for our kids! The house is a short walk to the beach which makes going back and forth easy. Highly recommend!

Stayed in Mashpee early this summer and could not be more impressed with this lovely home. It's a short walk to a beautiful beach, (I thought it was too early to swim but my two kids loved the ocean swim) has great restaurants near by and the house had everything we could've needed. Joe was great and set us up for a wonderful vacation. Highly Recommend.

My family and I stayed there for a long weekend and had a wonderful experience. The host was responsive to every question that we had and the house was exactly what we were looking for. It's a great location, walk to the beach, clean and private setting. We're looking forward to our next stay there!

Stayed here for a week in August 2019 with my husband and two children. The home was absolutely perfect for our beach vacation. The three bedrooms are nicely appointed with comfy beds and two full baths. Kitchen has new stove and dishwasher. Outside there is a great deck with a grill and table perfect for morning coffee and al fresco dinners. A nice bonus is the great outdoor shower! House also has AC which was a nice touch. It is located within a short walking distance to the beach and Joe, the owner, provides everything you need for a day by the ocean. Plenty of chairs, towels and beach toys. The house is also a quick walk to the marketplace for mini golf, pizza, ice cream, live music, lobster rolls and mudslides. The Community Center is also close by for kids to play softball, do arts and crafts and participate in movie night.

Owner was very responsive to all inquiries and needs. Will absolutely be renting from Joe again! show more show less

We stayed here with another family last July and just had a wonderful experience. The home itself was beautiful and Joe had it appointed with everything we needed and more! The backyard was large and private and the house was a short walk to the beach and the local shops and restaurants. We will absolutely be back again!

I stayed with 4 friends for a girls getaway in August and hope to stay here again! The house had everything we needed including enough indoor and outdoor space for us to spread out. The location couldn’t have been any better. Easy trip from Boston and walking distance to a great beach, 2 ocean front restaurants, and a cute marketplace with stores and restaurants - be sure to check out the Raw Bar when you visit! We ate out much of the time but the kitchen is fully equipped and the seating on the deck was perfect for coffee and post beach snacks. Our family of 4 (plus my mother) had a wonderful stay here July 2018. House is perfectly located within walking distance of the beach and Popponesset Marketplace.

We enjoyed the amenities such as the AC, outdoor grill and fire pit and loved taking outdoor showers. While we spent most of our time at the beach, we did find the inside of the house perfect for our needs. The 4 bedrooms provided comfortable beds with all the appropriate lines and furnishings we would need. Having two full baths inside the house was a huge plus for us as we all got ready each morning and evening.

We found Joe, the owner, very easy to work with and super responsive.

We definitely will be back to Poppy and this house next summer. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in this area.

Pro tip: send your kids to the mini golf course while you enjoy a lobster roll and Mudslide at the Raw Bar!! show more show less

We enjoyed our week long stay in this very comfortable home. Everything we needed was just a short walk away -- beach, restaurants, entertainment -- a great family location.

Our family absolutely LOVES this house. We've stayed three times and our kids (12, 8, 2) can't wait to go back very year. House is gorgeous, backyard is fantastic, outdoor shower is a plus and Sue and Dan provide everything you need for a day at the beach (even the cart and beach chairs). Can't say enough about the great vacations we've had here.
