Popponesset Home with Ocean View and Private Beach

My family rented the cottage next to this house for 40 years so I am very familiar with the owners and the house. In my opinion, it is THE best street in ALL of Popponesset. It is one of only two private streets in the community, the beach is rarely crowded as it is for residents and guests only. And this house is only steps away from the beach and within walking distance of the marketplace and Inn. Parking is a non-issue as there is a good sized driveway and if necessary, on street parking.

The house is very comfortable with all the amenities you would need for a wonderful vacation. I personally rented the house for a long weekend in the fall of 2012 for a girls college reunion (there were 6 of us) and everyone raved about the house and location. A beautiful view of the ocean can be seen from the deck as well as a living room upstairs. The house is roomy and can accommodate a good sized group, with outside seating on the deck and in the back yard.

I have my own house in New Seabury but spend considerable time here with the owners and other friends on the street. You will enjoy your stay here, no doubt!! Cheers!!

I have vacationed at this house a number of times and love it more every time. The last time was August 2012 with friends who had never been to the Cape before. It is an easy summer house, with lots of space to spread out. This is not a beach cottage. It has the comforts of a year round home and is super clean and comfortable. It's at the end of Popponesset near the Spit (a beautiful walk). Everyone loves exploring around down there. It's also a quick walk to the Community Center for kid stuff. The deck is perfect for coffee in the am and cocktails after the beach. I am a sucker for the outside shower. You don't have to go beyond the Mashpee rotary, everything is right within a few miles.
