Stunning gut-rehab of all three floors just recently completed, with fully equipped state-of-the-art kitchen, casual but elegant furnishings, beautiful art, A/C (split units in every room), spacious MB with cathedral ceiling, large screened porch that easily accommodates 10 for dinner, and well appointed deck overlooking private woods and marsh. Fire pit, outdoor shower, and beach sand volleyball court complete the picture. 4 bedrooms, including: (1) Queen modern canopy bed on 1st floor right next to full bath; (2) Master with King on 2nd floor, with expansive windows (and electric shade) and full bath across the hall; (3) additional 2nd floor BR with queen bed and skylight, which shares bath with MB; (4) large suite on lower level with 2 twins, pull-out couch, full bath, and add'l living/media room (perfect for teens!). Full bath on all 3 floors. Flat screen TVs in LR, Master Bedroom, and media room. Large desk with printer and office supplies in MB and high speed internet for those needing to work.

This is not your typical rental. The owners have furnished this property for themselves with beautiful furnishings, attention to detail, original art, All-Clad cookware, full bar service, professionally equipped kitchen with Thermador range, quality linens, Turkish cotton towels, gas fireplace. Air conditioning throughout. Expansive array of beach chairs, umbrellas, beach novels, games, and coolers provided. Beach towels provided on the condition that they are washed, dried and put away before departure (laundry room on site). Linens can also be made available.

Come enjoy the wonderful outdoor spaces where there is room for everyone to find a quiet corner for conversation or a good book. Front deck overlooking the garden, back deck overlooking the marsh, landscaped firepit area with 6 chairs, secluded hammock in the woods, outdoor shower, screened-in porch, beach sand volleyball court and large yard. Volleyball net/ball and badminton set provided. The large screened-in porch is a perfect place for long, relaxed dinners. Dining table seats 8, but there's always room for more. This is the perfect place to unwind and sip cocktails after a day at the beach, have cookouts, join the community stroll to the beach for sunset, or sit by the fire and make s'mores. This is an ideal location, a peaceful oasis on a quiet, private road, but less than a 10 minutes from all the great restaurants, art galleries and action in Provincetown. This home is equally close to Wellfleet and its famous art galleries, the Quiet Mind Yoga Studio, boat rentals and Mac's restaurant (BYOB) at Wellfleet Harbor, and more great restaurants. Within one block of our road on Route 6 is the best ice cream/pizza/morning baked goods in town at Savory's (to the left), and farm stand/liquor store/fish market where you order your fresh steamed lobsters ready for the table (to your right). You may never want to leave this one block radius! Bay beaches with calmer waters await at the end of the road. Ocean beaches (Head of the Meadow is our favorite) with larger waves for surfing and gorgeous dunes are across the way, about a 5 minute drive. Enjoy this special place and make it your summertime home on the Outer Cape! Time to pack your bags!

    Fabulous Week

Property had everything we could ask for - clean, quiet, modern appliances, pleasant atmosphere. A/C easily handled what was probably the hottest week of the year. Solar panels are a plus. Pleasant space for enjoying the outdoors - well maintained gardens, flowering plants, ample shade, plenty of chairs. During our stay we had a nice breeze for much of the day.

Easy stroll to bay side beach (warm water, sunset), short drive to ocean side beach(es). Bikeable. Far enough away from other homes to allow night sky viewing. We enjoyed the option of a short walk or drive for an ice cream cone and bite to eat.

Large living room provides plenty of space for conversations. Downstairs great room provides a door should some guests prefer a "louder" environment, video games, etc. without spilling over into living room/kitchen area or upstairs bedrooms.

Beautiful Home with a great location

This house is so well equiped. Everything you need to cook, lots of beach towels and chairs, and two great decks (one screened in).

The two upstairs rooms have very high ceilings, creating a wonderful sense of spaciousness. The outdoor shower is delightful. It is also close to a small cluster of stores--a fish market, a liquor store, and a small grocery store that has fresh produce and wonderful choices of bread. It is also two minutes from Savory, where you can pick up freshly baked goods each morning, or enjoy pizzas at night.

I took walks to the bay beach every day and also watched amaizng sunsets there at night.

    Wonderful Cape Cottage

We spent a wonderful week reminiscing with old friends at this lovely Cape home! The wooded property is very secluded and flowering gardens well maintained. Enjoyed making s'mores around the fire pit each evening and the outdoor showers were heavenly. Owners provided helpful information about local beaches and seafood restaurants. We never had to leave Truro for anything. Fabulous!

    A wonderful get away!

This house is beautiful. I would bike to the beach each morning and take a long walk. Truro has some of Cape Cod's most beautiful beaches. The house is very well equipped, and the outdoor space is wonderful. I LOVE the outdoor shower!!

We are academics who live in Boston, but love going down to the Cape on weekends in the fall, winter and spring to renew and recharge. We love having Ptown less than 10 min away. Essential! Our 19- year old loves having all his friends come down for a huge sleepover in his basement suite, enjoying our fire pit, volleyball court, or a bonfire on the beach at the end of the road. I grew up on the Cape, in Osterville (Town of Barnstable), and love the Outer Cape. The Cape Cod National Seashore has protected the natural beauty of the Outer Cape; it's the way I remember Osterville being before it got so built up. My wife is from Atlanta but has grown to love the Outer Cape as well.

What is special about this property?
What we love most about this property is being surrounded by nature. The marsh behind our house is conservation land and each house lot in our private development is about an acre, so it's a very private setting. It's common to be sitting on the deck and have a family of turkeys or a red fox walk by, or to see a great hawk come perch on our railing. We love the sunsets at the end of the road, where everyone in the neighborhood gathers each evening to see the sunset together. Despite all this natural beauty, we are only 10 minutes from all the action in Provincetown or the harbor and galleries in Wellfleet. We also love every aspect of our newly gut-renovated home! It's beautiful and comfortable, sophisticated but casual. Great cooks will appreciate the chef's kitchen. There are also many different spots inside and out to curl up with a good book or friend.

What is special about your town?
Truro is very small and quaint. The town has weekly music on stage at the little town green. The town ''center'' is a handful of shops and the post office. There really is no ''town,'' and the quaintness of Truro is exactly what folks love about it. More than half of Truro is protected nature preserves or part of the National Seashore! The town also has several spring-fed ponds that are also part of the National Seashore and thus cannot be built on. Most have only a few little cottages that were grandfathered in. The natural beauty is astounding. You can walk for hours along the beach uninterrupted. I've been on the beach at sunrise in the middle of summer and been the only person there! You can catch stripers from the beach at Head of the Meadow or walk on the flats at low tide on the bay side and dig up quahogs (hard-shelled clams) or steamers (soft-shell clams) with your toes! Truro is truly a magical place.
