ON THE BEACH! Stunning Views

We had the most incredible time at this cottage. We were so excited to book it for the location, but when we pulled up and saw the views in person, we were utterly blown away. We were fortunate to have great weather almost every day, but even on the one rainy day, we had great views of the dunes and enjoyed listening to the rain while cozily reading in the living room. In addition to being located on a beautiful bay beach, the cottage is incredibly comfortable on its own. The layout is great, we were easily able to do some light cooking in the kitchen, all the couches and chairs are comfortable, and were enjoyed having a huge array of books on the shelves of the bedrooms! We couldn't have asked for a better time, and will certainly be back next year. show more show less

This simple cottage offers peace and tranquility that can only be found in Truro. While the cottage says "sleeps 8" our family of six found this to be a more accurate description of comfortable living space. (Unless 4 people are sleeping in the living room) The Murphy bed (in the living room) is a very comfortable bed! And the cottage has very good beds! No shortcuts on good mattresses! The cottage behind it is perfect for spill-over family or friends. But I would not want unfamiliar folks so close to the main cottage. show more show less

This was truly old cape cod at it's best, with a location that can't be beat! A cottage right on one of the nicest bay beaches of the outer cape, lots of space and privacy, and just the right amount of modern amenities and simple furnishings to be comfortable, but still feel like a beach vacation--not an extension of our normal home life.
We enjoyed every minute of our stay here, especially the sunsets and moonrises on the outdoor deck, the short path to the water, the proximity to Truro town center, to Wellfleet, and the short ride to Provincetown.
The owners obviously love their bit of paradise as much as we did. You can tell by the level of thought and care they put into the place! Many thanks! show more show less

Such a beautiful spot and on its own beach…..First met Lucy, Kathy and Nick in Feb. 22' and they could not have been more welcoming. Kathy showed me the house and Nick and I spoke about his art collection and books on the history of Truro. I did buy the book of which I am totally enjoying. Had to wait till almost the end of August to start our vacation but in the end well worth the wait. Upon entering the house we were all pleasantly surprised at how clean the house was…no insects/spiders….yeah. The kitchen was amply supplied with dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots pans and bowls. There were ample paper products to last the week. Hot water ( showers etc. ) seemed to be almost instant, The fireplace was used on our first evening and greatly appreciated by all. Lots of wonderful memories for my family. Of course the views of P Town across the bay and the wonderful beach ( just north of Corn Hill Beach ) was spectacular. Looking forward to the summer of 23' to again enjoy this lovely house on the beach in Truro.

Another beautiful week on Great Hollow Beach. Cottage was very clean upon arrival, and we certainly appreciate the very nice furniture and furnishings. Already looking forward to 2023 stay !
