You were the perfect host! From the beginning, your honest communication and organizational skills made the entire experience a pleasure. We cannot thank you enough for your quick responses during your stay.

Your home is more beautiful than any picture can show. It was clear to us that you truly want your guests to have all the comforts of home. It is difficult to pick one item that made our visit special. The house was spotless with areas everywhere to help us relax. From the views on the roof top deck, to the beautiful fountains and gardens. From the huge romantic master bathroom the stunning pool. Everything was ideal.

The decor of the home gave us a peek into your life-showing us that family and mutual respect are important to you. We enjoyed the richness and variety of items you have collected. It took us a few days to figure out what the 'A Popek' above the entrance meant and would have loved to know more.

We would definitely recommend a stay at your property to anyone. Hopefully we will be able to return in the future.

What a wonderful week and we enjoyed in your home. We've rented a lot of houses over the years and we can tell you with certainty that you've created something special here. We enjoyed countless hours hanging together on the porch swings, swimming in the pool, and hanging out in the "sunny room" doing puzzles and just watching the world outside the windows. Your home provided a MUCH needed break from reality for our family and we thank you for creating such a special space. We're all ready looking forward to returning next year.

It's very hard to tick all our boxes (pool, dog friendly, in Truro) and this house meets all three. The king sized beds are also a rare find on the Cape and were very comfortable. The pool is incredible, probably the cleanest pool we've ever swam in. Thanks Eric for sharing your home with us!

We had such a wonderful time at Eric's property ! The pool was fantastic and the location was close to the beach as well as great restaurants. We loved visiting Truro vineyards just a few mins down the road and my kids were obsessed with the Top Mast Cafe for breakfast where they could feed the fish!

The kitchen was well stocked, and each room had an en suite which came in handy. It was easy to stay in and enjoy or head out and explore.

We will be back !

My family had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful home! Eric's communication and attention to detail was second to none. The pool and gardens are gorgeous. There's plenty of space for everyone to spread out. My family also really appreciated the accessibility as one of our family members uses a wheelchair. Finding an accessible home on the outer Cape that is also beautiful and has a pool was dream come true for my family! We all had a great time and can't wait to go back next summer!

This is a lovingly appointed, spacious, open, airy, light and expansive home. The owner's passion is evident in every room!

High ceilings, countless patios and decks, oversized windows, a labyrinth of a second floor. Every bedroom has private and full bathroom facilities. The kitchen is fabulous - thoughtfully arranged, organized, clean, and comfortably holds several active cooks.

But then, the outside. The backyard faces an open 'bowl' of green, with homes a bit of a distance away on the periphery. It's private. And quiet. We never heard another voice the entire week. But just wait until you set yourself, supine, on the oversized bed-like rocking couches whose installation was a brilliant idea! They face the 'infinity' pool which, in and of itself, is a visual magnet, compelling, hypnotic.

There's walkable access to the bay side, and easy driving to the ocean/national seashore side at Head of the Meadow beach.

Eric was a delight to deal with - he's readily accessible, pleasant, clear, and....he clearly loves this place.

I read of a disgruntled visitor who apparently stayed just before us or nearly so; yes, there's a list of 'rules' (many town-imposed) and also specific requests on how to care for certain property items and also how to leave things when you depart for home. A financial 'incentive' is in place so that we follow these guidelines. But - in so doing, Eric and his cleaners really did their part, too. This was *the* cleanest, most organized rental I think I've ever seen. Even the lids to the pots were organized! And the knives! (And they were sharp!). So, it's kind of quid pro quo, win/win.

Amazing place
We had a great time at this beautiful house. The swings overlooking the pool were a highlight for us. Eric was friendly and super responsive.

Had an amazing family getaway at Eric's house on North Truro- this is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. He has thought of everything that goes into a great vacation home and put them in place. The layout - the accommodations - the outdoor spaces- the quiet ambiance of the location- all go to making this beyond a 5-star.

Just returned from a week in this magnificent home. It was perfect for our family's needs: beautiful, spacious, dog-friendly, nearby to activities when we wanted them, secluded when we didn't. The pool is just spectacular and was the highlight of the experience for us. So grateful for the time we spent together in this special place.

This house is so great! We had 5 adults , everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom which made it so nice. The beds were all very comfortable! The kitchen is well equipped and we could eat at the house easily…great grill too! Plenty of room to spread out! And we had 2 dogs both less than 9 lbs but they even had a great place to be outside! The pool and deck are phenomenal! It feels like you are at a resort when outside by the pool! And above all, Eric was SO attentive! Unfortunately we had a couple of problems in the house the first day but he stayed in close touch with us and remedied the situation as quickly as it could be done! Really unbelievable concern and help especially because it was a holiday weekend! Really good guy and cares about his "guests"! All in all, more than a 5 star rating!

Most amazing vacation stay ever
We have stayed in vacation rentals around the world and this was the best we've ever seen. The house is gorgeous, the location is perfect, and everything just worked. Fabulous views from the many decks and the pool is beautiful. Ptown was a quick 10 min drive, the walk to the private beach was easy and the beach was gorgeous (and empty)! Eric was a great communicator throughout our stay. Our whole family had a terrific getaway and we can't wait to come back.

"Our group was here for the US Figure Skating Ice Dance National Finals held in Hyannis. We were aware of the distance between the two towns but felt that Eric's home would be so worth the many trips back and forth. We were not disappointed! First, the pros.... 1. Quiet area full of nature. 2. Stunning vistas for 360 degrees. 3. Lively and well appointed kitchen. 4. Great gathering spot for both a larger group or a couple. 5. Short walk to a magnificent beach. 6. The furniture and the beds were all very comfortable and cozy. 7. Linens and towels were provided. There were even beach towels. 8. The big mosaic dining table is beautiful 9. All of the living spaces, including the decks, were bright and inviting. 10. Our host Eric was a very thoughtful and enjoyable host. He went to the max to make sure our stay was phenomenal! The cons...... 1. We had to leave to go home!!! Do consider booking this property. It is breathtaking inside and out. It is far away enough to offer so much privacy while being close to Provincetown. The beach incidentally, overlooks the Atlantic Ocean where there is a National Underwater Sanctuary just off the coast of Provincetown, MA. Locals advised us this cove area has some of the best whale watching as well as shark activity. I promise, you will not be disappointedone bit in your stay here!"

Eric, my brother really enjoyed the house. A lot of secret rooms that would have made it mysterious. The gym was the best, hard to get in at first but it worked, just kidding HA HA. The view is awesome along with the house. Would love to rent one weekend again. You did a great job with restoring the house

Our brother/brother-in-law/uncle has a stone on the breakwater on the West End, so we come out to remember him every year or two. We will check your availability & would love to return here. We stayed here with four adults and seven children and there was plenty of room. We especially liked the well stocked kitchen and huge dining room table. Also the 360 degree view from the rooftop deck is truly awesome!! The bedrooms are all sufficient size with full bathrooms in each but the space of the Master Suite is more than ample. It is downright luxurious! It is an easy walk to the beach on the bay and the owner provides beach chairs and towels. The grounds of the house are very natural and the views from the decks on each level are so pretty. The neighborhood is quiet and comfortable. Overall we had a very relaxing time in this super comfortable house. Eric is a great host and really easy to work with too. Thank you!

I had the pleasure of meeting Eric Martin a few days ago and of getting a tour of his beautifully renovated home, Videre, on Whale Watch Drive in North Truro. Eric is a talented contractor but his vision is his forte. That his house is named “Videre” meaning “to see,” and “vision,” is a clue with a double entendre. The elevation offers water views that will make you never want to leave, except perhaps to walk to the private beach. An open floor plan anchored by a fireplaced great room, an open kitchen and dining area, and a 3-sided glass living room invite entertaining. A roof-top deck offers forever views. Four bedrooms, 5 baths, and lots of areas for hosting big celebrations or for sharing secrets. This house has terrific light throughout. It also offers privacy, proximity to Provincetown and upscale freshness. I hope my family will be among the first tenants. Your workmanship, style, taste and vision are exceptional.

Dear Eric,
We feel so at home after only a two-day stay! Videre has an incredibly comforting vibe with all the right touches of elegance. I could sit here in the sun room for years to come, taking in the constantly changing vision surrounding us. I feel like I was meant to be here somehow. I believe you must know that feeling well. I can imagine spending many happy days here with my family, and I know that your future guests will too. The only things I would add are a small drink table next to the fantastic chairs in the sunroom (I kept looking for a place to set my coffee while I sat there taking in the light) and a small mat somewhere to put our dog's food and water bowl. Simple things that would enhance the welcoming and homey feel that you have already cultivated here. I have never been to a place so close to the beach where I felt just as happy to stay at home as I did to be out on the stand. I wish you continued success in your endeavors here! I cannot wait to return. XOXO.
