The Ballston Beach “Bob-White Cottage” is a throw back to a bygone era that is a quintessential 3 bedroom Cape Cod Cottage tucked away in a dune giving you a sense of privacy. It is one of the few houses in the National Seashore that was grandfathered in. Go to sleep listening to the waves. In a few short steps you could experience Ballston Beach, enjoy a private dune location (Surf Look-Out), and swim in the Atlantic Ocean. It is everything to love about Cape Cod. This classic Beach Cottage was moved from Gull Pond in Wellfleet in the 1940's and was originally used as a fishing cottage. Just walking into this house you feel like you are on vacation.

There are few like this house left on the Cape, and you will love it exactly how it is. However, it is not for everyone. There are old painted wood floors, cathedral ceilings, eat-in kitchen, a clawfoot tub, an outdoor shower, cable TV, internet, and private parking for 2 cars.

The location of this property in the National Seashore by the Atlantic Ocean is something that can never be recreated again!

    Absolute Heaven

    My family has stayed at so many different cottages over the years and this will remain an absolute favorite. The communication beforehand was wonderful. The cottage is so charming and such a classic Cape Cod gem. It is so thoughtfully decorated, so clean and every single thing you could think of has already been anticipated. The beds are so comfortable. The outdoor shower is heavenly. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The living room is so cozy and welcoming (and my kids were both doing virtual school and can attest to excellent wifi).

    And then you step out of the cottage and are on the most beautiful stretch of beach you will find anywhere. It's pristine and endless in both directions. It is such a special magical place and we can't wait to come back!     show more show less

    My family and I truly understand the special location and surroundings of this get-away Cape Cod beach cottage. Therefore, we want you to have such a wonderful family beach adventure that it inspires you to come back every year.

    What is special about this property?
    It was ''love at first site'' at that first moment my family and I spent time at this unique Cape Cod beach house. We were enchanted by its isolated location and its seaside cottage charm which is only steps to Ballston Beach and the Atlantic Ocean. The beach house amazingly sits in a location that allows a walk to the beach to see the beautiful morning sunrises from the east and views of the sunset to the west from the beach house front.

    What is special about your town?
    The location allows the comfort to be secluded and escape from one's hectic daily life. However, in only a 15-20 minute drive to Provincetown it provides the option to enjoy the coastal summer bustle of the ''P'Town harbor, its artists and galleries, boutiques and welcoming restaurants.
