Only 1/10th of a mile to the beach from this lovely renovated, beautifully furnished home, with central air. The proximity is easy for avid beach goers and/or families with young children to get back and forth for naps and meals. It"s also a wind surfing, paddle boarding and kayak favorite.
Dig for clams, or gather famous Wellfleet oysters at low tide, which are abundant here. Walk back for sunsets, with a glass of wine & meet the neighbors for this daily, summer ritual.
This year round home was renovated with bamboo floors, white kitchen cabinets, granite and stainless kitchen appliances, a wall-mounted HD flat screen TV, with cable and DVD. We even have a stereo/CD system, (remember those?) Wireless internet service is included. Central a/c was installed only a few summers ago and there are various sized fans, if you prefer fresh air. A bay window, the length of the living-room, along with lots of other windows, allows for great cross ventilation.
The lay-out is an open floor plan for the living, kitchen & dining areas, which are all in the front of the house. An adjoining deck has direct access from the dining area. Bedrooms are down the hall in the back part of the house, making down time for adults on the deck or in the living room, more private and less disturbing for those early to bed.
The deck has a Crate and Barrel table for six, (with umbrella), and being directly off the dining area, makes it easy to grill and enjoy alfresco eating. There"s a bonus room on the garden level, filled with toys, puzzles, etc. for little ones, or just another place to get away from it all to read, or find a quiet space.
Only 2 miles to town and other Kettle pond or ocean beaches, (Newcomb, White Crest, Long Pond, etc.), this dead end location out to the neck, is a friendly, tight knit beach community, where owners and renters return every year.
