I just wanted to let you know how much my family enjoyed your house. We had a wonderful time and truly appreciated everything about the house: how well it was furnished; how well the kitchen was equipped, not only with pots, pans, etc. but also with oils, vinegar and spices; how great the outdoor shower is (with a changing space!); how clean the house is ... and on and on. You also predicted that my sister would forget a set of queen sheets so we were thrilled when we found an extra set you had for such occasions! (Of course, we washed the sheets and put them away for the next time this happens!)

We have absolutely LOVED our stay at your vacation home! It was perfect for the 9 of us. Our single daughter enjoyed staying in the bright and cheerful TV room – also having a bathroom to herself at night. The outside shower was a hit. We want one.?? The deck and screened in porch were also well used It was a perfect location for cycling, swimming and going to the beach. We enjoyed swimming across Duck pond & back as well as across Great pond (and back).
We all hope to stay again.

We had a wonderful week and good weather compared to the Berkshires. Your outdoor shower and screened porch are the big pluses!! We had a great dinner at the Bookstore. We especially like the store Up Front run by a friend's daughter. Artistic displays and a fun place to shop! Newcomb Hollow is the most beautiful of the beaches due to the dunes!

Another wonderful year at 35 Mehitable Lane. Every year is different but each is splendid in its own right. We were a quieter level this year but enjoyed all our usual activities, lots of rest, ocean & duck swims & reading.

Thanks again for your wonderful home. This is our 9th year here with the exception of the COVID year. We really appreciate the air conditioning and the wonderful games in the basement. We found our way to duck pond and since it was a hot day we returned through the state camping park which shortened our walk. As always, the outdoor shower and screen porch were a wonderful plus!

Thank you for Sharing your beautiful home with us. It was perfect for us during this terrible time of COVID-19. It was a safe shelter with everything you could possibly need or want. We love your home - it was constructed to think of every comfort & convenience. Thank you again. Our family (son - in law, daughter & grandson) were very happy being together.

We've thoroughly enjoyed relaxing, cooking, playing and sleeping in this wonderful house. The games room has been the evening setting for some high pressure pool games. For several of our party, the proximity to Duck Pond gave us our fondest memories. The daily Run-Swim-Run provided exercise, tranquility and immersion in nature. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place with us.

Thank you for a wonderful week in your lovely home. Although we didn't have the best weather we managed to visit 2 lakes, 1 bay beach & 3 ocean beaches. A highlight was a bonfire on White Crest beach. It was worth the wait in line for the permit. We also loved Arnolds for a fish meal, Ben & Jerry's for ice cream and a take out meal from C-Shore. Another glorious 3 weeks in Wellfleet filled with family, friends and happiness. We were less ambitious this year - spent most of the time at Duck Pond and Maguires Landing - but that was just what the doctor ordered. Highlights included seeing David Sedaris in Provincetown, whales at Maguires Landing, bridge diving (as always), ice cream at Mac's and dinner at PJ's. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you -

Thank you so much (again) for letting us use your house. This summer we especially loved sitting on the porch thanks to the beautiful weather this week. Amy especially thanks you for adding the little stand to charge her phone in the left hand upstairs bedroom. This week we enjoyed strong currents and waves on the beach, many swims at Duck pond, Shakespeare (Henry V), tennis at the Wellfleet Recreation Center, biking and running on the bike path, and a bonfire at Newcomb Hollow. Thank you again for providing us with such a lovely house to spend our traditional Wellfleet vacation in!

Every summer we love Wellfleet even more than the previous ones. Our 3 weeks passed in what seemed like the blink of an eye. We did all the old favorites - swimming at Duck pond, Kayaking at Gull pond, Bridge diving, the Drive-in, meals at PJs and Macs, a whale watch in Provincetown, a walk at the Audubon, long lazy days at Maguires Landing, a fire on the beach, a ride on the bike trail. And we added some new things too. Lots and lots of wild turkeys this year! They were more populous than even the seals (or the sharks...) As always, we can't wait for next summer in Wellfleet!!

Thanks a lot for another year at your wonderful house. The weather was good and we found exploring the beach on foggy days was fun. We had 13 of us (3 generations) between 2 houses. 4 years to 82! Lots of wonderful memories.

Another terrific week at the Hathaway home! Enjoyed a perfect week of weather – lots of beach days, biking, fishing, bonfires and excellent seafood. Our annual family gathering at the Beachcomber is always a good time. Thanks to Ed and Leda who went above and beyond to make our stay a great one!

We had an absolutely splendid time at your beautiful home last week. It was a perfect week to be at the beach. In fact, we've never been on the Cape when it has been so continuously hot -- the ocean was a pleasant relief for a change! The house and location were excellent. We especially loved the screened porch and the open, airy feel, which never got too hot (and the terrific outdoor shower -- no one ever used one of the indoor ones!). We were able to take advantage of all our usual Wellfleet activities -- Newcomb Hollow, Duck Pond, bike rides (with a stop at PB Bistro at the end for a treat!), Free Shakespeare (a real highlight of Wellfleet -- I wrote about it in your guest book), striped bass, smoked bluefish, lots of reading and a bonfire one night on the beach.

Wow, words are not enough to describe how much we all enjoyed your home for the second year. The house is very cozy and such a delight. The location of your home is wonderful, lots of trails and beaches close by for running and biking, with a refreshing swim afterward at Duck Pond.
