Description

Our home is a perfect location for your romantic getaway or family vacation. Only a short distance from the renowned Beachcomber Restaurant & Bar, and a quick bike ride from Wellfleet's pristine ponds and bike trails, you will want to spend your entire vacation here without ever getting into your car. Beautiful Ocean Views from the east facing windows and decks. 200 steps to the top of the dune and private access to the beach near Lecount Hollow in the Cape Cod National Seashore. The dune is high and steep so we join with our neighbors in hiring a carpenter to install steps on it each year. Check with us for the timing of when the steps are installed in the Spring. Additional walking access is at the LeCount Hollow area close by.

Comfortably sleeps 5 adults in 2 bedrooms. Completely rebuilt in 2011. The cottage contains all new finishes and almost all new furnishings including hardwood floors, tile baths, a well equiped kitchen with stainless appliances and granite countertops and beautiful azek decks and railings. This is a great cottage for your vacation at the beach. *$200.00 Deposit required*

    Lovely Cottage in National Seashore

This is such a special cottage equipped with everything you could need. We love lounging on both decks enjoying the ocean sounds and views as well as stargazing at night. Another highlight is watching the sunrise from the comfort of the master bedroom right out the windows or from the deck. The location is amazing. In addition to the beach, we love the nearby ponds, bike trail and French boulangerie but the house is so comfortable and cozy you really want to save time to just relax.
It's a little slice of heaven.

    Cozy Cottage near the beach

We had a great visit to Anne's cottage on the National Seashore in Wellfleet. The cottage has everything you'll need - comfy space, everything kitchen-wise, lovely decks, and is recently updated. The cottage was clean on arrival and it was nice to have all amenities, including laundry, available to us. The beach is a short walk down the street and down the stairs. We were blessed with terrific weather during our stay which made our week even more enjoyable. We hope to rent with Anne again!

Wellfleet on the Ocean Done Right

We spent a week at this great cottage.

Location is exactly what we wanted. Steps to the beach, ocean views and falling asleep to the sound of the waves.

Property is recent renovated, clean and well appointed.

Owner was easy to work with and welcoming as was the property manager.

    5 stars.

    Peaceful Wellfleet getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anne's home which was just a couple houses back from private steep stairs to Lecount Hollow beach. The recently renovated home had a huge primary bedroom with large windows facing the ocean along with access to the rooftop deck. The basement was large (and clean) so that on a rainy day we setup a small corn hole set and played inside. The kitchen may have been better stocked than mine at home. We were so fortunate to have some really great June weather while we were there as well. We enjoyed numerous days on the beach as well as time on the decks. Friday was so warm I was able to get in the water. We stuffed ourselves with delicious food from the area restaurants and were thrilled to hear some of the musicians that played daily at The Pearl. I especially enjoyed visiting the beach around 11 pm. It was so peaceful and quiet. On a few nights, the skies were so clear the milkyway was vividly displayed. I will cherish my time there and hope to return sometime soon. Wellfleet may be my new favorite town on the cape.

    Why go anywhere else

This property on the bluffs of Wellfleet is my favourite of all the homes I've rented in Wellfleet. You see the beautiful Atlantic in front of you. It takes second to get to the bluffs. The house itself is renovated, super comfortable and has everything one needs. And the PB Boulangerie Bistro is 10 minutes walk. Why go any where else?

    Beautiful Cottage in National Seashore

I noticed there weren't any recent reviews and wanted to be sure to leave one! My husband and I rented this cottage with three 10 year old grandsons during their spring break. The cottage is a few houses from the ocean, with views from the living room, both upper and lower decks, and from the spacious master bedroom upstairs with it's own private sitting area. The ocean breezes and salt air were wonderful. The cottage is spotless, with every modern convenience we needed. The beds were very comfortable and of great quality. The boys enjoyed the bunk beds downstairs and had their own bathroom downstairs which worked well. Anne (owner) was very responsive and easy to work with. This cottage maintains Old Cape charm and was beautifully and thoughtfully renovated. We have rented many homes on the cape and this is a hidden gem. Can't wait to come back! Thank you, Anne! show more show less

My wife and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary. The house is in a peaceful, beautiful spot overlooking the Cape Cod National Seashore. The house has many east-facing windows that bring the ocean view into the house. The house was tastefully renovated and has a very comfortable living and dining area. The second floor deck (pictured) has a beautiful view day and night. We loved our stay!!

Awesome, beautiful and comfy home with Ocean view

This home is incredible. It has everything, starting with one of the best views in the world - a view of the Atlantic Ocean from the sandy bluffs of Wellfleet, Cape Cod - and has been very recently and totally renovated. You can lie in the master bedroom and soak in the morning sun and the ocean view. The upstairs deck of the master bedroom is so incredible that you won't want to go anywhere else. It also has all of the creature comforts you need. You can walk to the bluffs in a minute, or you can go the other way to the PB Bistro for a genuine Parisian-style coffee and croissant (15 minute walk). You will love this home, on-season and off! show more show less

Do cottage rentals have you crossing your fingers, hoping the place will be tolerably functional, clean and well located? Well, you can put those worries aside when you stay at this beautiful South Well fleet gem! Everything is literally brand new, perfectly spotless and luxurious. Being newly constructed, the floor plan is great for both a private getaway and entertaining. Cooks will love the well-appointed kitchen, and the showers, both inside and al fresco, invite lingering and in luxury. />What we loved the most: The ever-present sounds of the surf, the short walk to an expansive ocean beach, bike riding on quiet roads or on the terrific Cape Cod Rail Trail (which starts right down the road), and the quick trip to "our" village of Wellfleet - quaint, fun, nautical and laid back.
This wonderful cottage is a perfect blend of privacy, convenience and accessibility to all the things that make for a fabulous Cape vacation. Ours certainly was!

My parents bought a cottage on this street in 1963. I spent my summers from then until 1978 here, working for the Cape Cod National Seashore in the later years. Now I have the joy of bringing my children and grandchildren here each summer.

What is special about this property?
The Ocean side of Wellfleet is a place like no other. Thanks to the institution of the CCNS in 1961, the beach and the surrounding area are just as unspoiled as it was when I was a child.

This cottage was lovingly built and remodeled by Sol and Maria Cohen and their daughter, Michelle and her husband. We appreciate how they built it to make the most of the expansive Ocean view. The ''upside down'' house makes the most of the living space in the day and keeps the bedrooms cool in the evenings.
