This charming, renovated cottage is just 100 yards from beautiful Mayo Beach, perfect for swimming, boating, fishing and shell fishing. Within walking distance are fine and casual dining options, the Town Pier, Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater, a playground, skateboard park, and tennis and basketball courts. Wellfleet’s Town Center, featuring art galleries, shops, and restaurants, is within 1 mile. Park once and walk or bike to everything.

One bedroom has 2 twin beds, the other has a queen. Window AC units are installed in each bedroom during summer months, and baseboard and space heating is available for use in the cooler months.

The living space has comfortable seating for 4, a dining table and 4 chairs and flat screen wall mounted TV with DVD player. A ceiling fan helps keep the space cool.

The kitchen is very well equipped including a range, refrigerator, and microwave.

There is a dining table with umbrella on the front deck, and casual
seating and gas grill on the back. An enclosed outdoor shower off the back of the cottage offers a private and convenient way to rinse off sand and sunblock after a trip to the beach.

Pet policy: Tenancy to include one small dog (under 25 lbs.) will be considered, but requires the signing of a Pet Addendum to the Lease and an additional $240 fee per week.

    Fabulous vacation

    Our family couldn't have been happier with our stay at the cottage. The quick walk to Mayo Beach was amazing! We loved that it was less than a mile walk into the town, and it was less than a block to restaurants and a fresh fish market. Even though it was so close to the main road, it was tucked away nicely from any unwanted busy traffic. The interior was clean and cozy, and the outdoor shower was private and well maintained. We loved this cottage, and plan on returning hopefully more than once next summer. show more show less

    We loved our stay at this house. The location is great, walking distance to restaurants, shops, Mayo Beach and the harbor, yet set back among the marsh grass so it feels quiet and private. The house is comfortable, and the outdoor shower is awesome. We look forward to a return visit next summer!

    Great place for a family of four

    This is our second year staying in this cozy cottage. It's just the right size for a family of four and has all the amenities we need. The photos give a good idea of it. It's new, clean, bright, and tasteful. Despite being near the harbor, pier, and several restaurants/bars, it feels secluded because of the reeds around it on three sides and the fact that it sits on the rear of the property. Ork and Marcia are a pleasure to deal with, too. Mayo Beach and public tennis courts are a short walk away. show more show less

    Great Cottage

    This is a wonderful spot right across from Mayo Beach, the Pier, and several restaurants. We barely used the car, just walked everywhere. The cottage is well stocked, nicely updated and very comfortable to stay in. Ork and Marcia are great hosts and very helpful. It was a very peaceful vacation and I am going back again in 2013.

    Ork and Marcia - we wanted to drop you a note to confirm we received and just deposited the security deposit check, and also tell you what a great time we had at the cottage in Welfleet! The cottage is so cozy and welcoming, and well-equiped, we were right at home regardless of the weather. What a great location! Loved the hair care products in the outdoor shower and all the amenties both inside and outside the cottage.
    If we can ever provide a "reference" for future renters, we'd be delighted to tell people what a great rental you have.
