We have been coming to Wellfleet for the past 6 years. Dan's house is spacious and comfortable. Everything was perfectly clean on our arrival, and Dan even provided fresh flowers! The kitchen is well equipped, and the expansive windows are shaded from the afternoon sun. Two of the bedrooms have efficient A/C units. The house is conveniently located in South Wellfleet a short distance from the marsh, and the road it is on has very little traffic and is safe for walking. It is a short drive to PB Boulangerie for fresh bread and croissants. We hope to return next summer! show more show less

We had a fantastic experience staying at this house for 3 weeks on our 2015 Wellfleet summer vacation. The house has a great open kitchen, dining and living area, but there is a separate TV room area adjacent on the main floor which gives a nice separate space. There is a deck overlooking a very private backyard. The basement space is also fantastic and there are three bedrooms upstairs including one that is very very large. The overall feeling is that there is A LOT of great, comfortable, uncluttered living space. The street itself is a circle but the circle is quite large and hence the feeling of a lot of privacy and space (you can't see any other houses from the back deck). The street and area was really great for biking with our children. Dan, the owner, is really on the ball and organized. We had the pleasure of staying in Dan's and Harriet’s Wellfleet vacation rental in September. The lovely home has wonderful common-space on the main level with a two-story living room overlooking a private back yard. The Asian artwork, along with many family photo's, make this feel more like a home than simply a vacation rental. The property is quiet and private but conveniently located to Route 6 and PB for morning pastries. It's also within walking distance to some wonderful views of tidal flats and within a short drive of a beautiful beach for scenic views or kayaking. This spacious home is a nice retreat from busy schedules. Much recommended!

This is a gorgeous home in an ideal location in Wellfleet. It is quiet, sunny, and beautifully decorated. There are nice walks you can take from the house and a near-by french bakery for breakfast treats before heading out to a local beach. The house has plenty of room for a party, but is comfortable for just one or two people as well. I hosted a friend's bachelorette party here and it was fantastic - we made big breakfasts in the kitchen, went to Providence for town adventures, and made dinner over a bonfire at the beach only 5 minutes away.
