Our bright, spacious home is located in the woods one mile from the center of Wellfleet. The secluded two-acre property abuts the National Seashore and faces a marsh. With big windows looking out onto pines, oaks, and goldfinches, it feels like a tree house.

The house is located at the end of the road, with a large perennial garden on the cul-de-sac. Facing the garden is a big deck with an outdoor table. A second deck faces the marsh. A swing and rope hammock hang in the back. There's also a private outdoor shower.

It has three floors. On the ground floor are two bedrooms (one with twin beds, one with a double), a bathroom with shower, a TV area (DVDs and Roku), and a living room with a fireplace that opens onto a small deck. On the second floor, there is a big open kitchen (fully equipped) with tons of counter space and an electric stove and a large dining room table; half bath; and a cozy den off to the side. The third floor has the master bedroom with a queen bed and full bathroom with tub/shower. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms, an airy second floor, and wooded location keep the house cool in the heat of summer.

It's near both bay and ocean beaches, the harbor, and Wellfleet’s many kettle ponds. You can bike on quiet back roads into Wellfleet Center or to Truro.
