Comfortable 3 bedroom cape nestled in the pines only a short walk to Duck Pond. Access to the Town of Wellfleet ocean beaches without having to travel on Route 6. Spacious rear deck with seating for 8, gas grille and outdoor shower.

Inside you will enjoy hardwood flooring in all living areas except for the kitchen, baths and screened porch which are vinyl. The master bedroom has a queen bed and is on the first floor with adjacent access to a 3/4 bath. Upstairs are two bedrooms that share a full bath located between them. One has a queen, the other has a double and a twin. Each bedroom has a nice size closet, dressers, and room fans.

There is a dining area adjacent to the kitchen which opens into the living room. A three-season screened porch is accessed from the living area. Appliances include a new refrigerator with ice maker, washer/dryer, electric range, microwave, toaster oven and coffee maker.

There is an 80-gallon electric water heater that was replaced last year.

There is off-street parking for 3+ cars next to a large storage shed that offers two bicycles, beach chairs, boogie boards and miscellaneous beach toys. Cable TV and internet access are included. Bring your linens, towels and paper goods.

Walk to Duck Pond, a pristine freshwater pond along the national seashore.

    Perfect Wellfleet Cottage

    We've been coming to Wellfleet for decades, and this sweet cottage was the most perfect we have ever had. Quiet and nestled in the pine woods, but on the oceanside and so close to the kettle ponds we love to swim in. Easy to get to all the ocean beaches, and very easy to get to Wellfleet center and the bayside beaches too. The house was charming, clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved sitting on the back deck and watching the birds in the bird bath. We would definitely rent this cottage again, and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves summers in Wellfleet. show more show less

    We enjoyed our stay very much at this well kept, well equipped home. It was clean and comfortable, close to everything yet quiet and private. Kettle pond down the street was awesome! We had a great time.

    The perfect cape house for a vacation on the outer cape. Excellent location near Wellfleet Center, beaches. Very clean and has all the amenities you need with plenty of room. The owner is very responsive and accommodating. You get any questions answered immediately and the house was great!. Highly recommend staying here.

    A peaceful summer home

    My family have summered here in early August for the last 3 years and we love it! Host Carl is always receptive and quick to respond to any questions and needs. The rooms are comfortable and homey, and the location can't be beat- Near town, to the ocean, and a short walk or drive to several ponds. Highly recommended!- C. Gonson

    My family has been vacationing in Wellfleet since I can remember, at least since the early 1960's. My parents finally found the courage, and the money, to buy a lot and build this house in 1982. My two sisters and I were fortunate enough to raise our families with access to this ''Gathering Place''. I now own this home with my sister who is retired and lives with her husband in Michigan. I live in Ipswich with my wife and we are both approaching retirement. My younger sister and her husband have been fortunate enough to purchase and renovate their own home on the bayside. Our children have all grown up to love Welllfeet and visit on a regular basis. We hope you also find Wellfleet and Cape Cod National Seashore to be as beautiful, enjoyable and rejuvenating as we have!

    What is special about this property?
    We love the fact that you can walk or bike to Duck Pond on a moments notice. It's also nice to be able to access the ocean beaches without having to negotiate any traffic on Route 6. Having easy access to the rail trail bike path is also a big plus. We love the variety of food and dining choices in Wellfleet and in other nearby Cape Towns. When visiting, my family never showers indoors and always favor the outdoor shower! We hope you enjoy your time here as much as we do!
