Located in the charming Old Chequesset Woods neighborhood, you will find this classic Cape Cod home. Close to all that downtown Wellfleet has to offer - shops, restaurants, market, galleries, and the library. Beaches are also closeby - Mayo's Beach is just a 5 minute drive (1.3 miles) and beautiful Newcomb Hollow Beach (ocean) is only 10 minutes (3.1 miles) away.

On the first floor there is a complete kitchen with dishwasher, dining area with sliders to a new deck, comfortable living room with cathedral ceiling, 2 bedrooms and a full bath with tub/shower.

On the second floor there is a large primary bedroom and another full bath with shower. You'll find a washer and dryer conveniently located in the basement and a wonderful outdoor shower in the backyard.

    We love our Cape Cod Cottage! The house has been in our family since it was built buy my Mom in 1984. Growing up in upstate NY, we would look so forward to our two weeks at the cottage every Summer. So many special memories have been created there and we hope the same will be true for you. Now, we are fortunate to have lived on the Cape year round for the last 5 years.

    We hope you will love Wellfleet and our cottage as much as we do!


    What is special about this property?
    50 Joshua Cook lane is located on a quiet cul-de-sac in Old Chequessett Woods. The cottage is comfortable and a relaxing environment.There have been many recent updates including the beautiful composite deck, windows, front step, side walk and air conditioning. It is a short walk (about a mile) in to town where you'll find wonderful restaurants, fun retail shops, galleries, a market and the library. There are many beach options. Nearby Mayo's Beach on the bay side, Duck Harbor also on the Bay and then 4 Ocean side beaches along Ocean Drive. You'll also be able to enjoy several fresh water ponds! Fun hiking opportunities as well on Great Island.

    What is special about your town?
    Downtown Wellfleet has retained its charm and feels like classic Cape Cod. We love that Wellfleet has both ocean and bayside beaches - nothing is very far away. Some of our favorite restaurants in Wellfleet include Winslow's Tavern, The Pearl, Mac's Shack, Wicked Oyster, PJ's, Moby Dicks, Macs on the Pier - we do love food:) Want more suggestions in surrounding towns - just let us know:)
