Our beautifully renovated and furnished 19th century antique cottage is nestled in a desirable part of Wellfleet on a quiet road. Walking distance to everybody's favorite in-town restaurants, beaches, shops and spots, you'll want to return again and again.

You enter a nicely equipped kitchen with stainless appliances and island for meal prep. The kitchen opens to the dining room with large dining table and cozy armchair (the fireplace is decorative, not for tenant use), perfect for snuggling up with a good book. Just beyond the dining room is the living room with comfortable sectional sofa and large flat screen TV with YouTube TV (streaming broadcast and cable channels) and WiFi. There is a bathroom with shower only just off the dining room.

From the dining room, follow the original ship ladder stairs* to the second floor with combination office, sitting area and two bedrooms. The office area has a desk if you need to catch up on emails. At the other end of the space is a futon (expands to a full bed) and a flat screen TV with YouTubeTV. One bedroom has a full (double) bed and the other bedroom has two twin beds (may be put together for a king).

Just past the kitchen on the other side of the house are the conveniently located washer and drying and a second bathroom with shower only. Follow a staircase to the second floor main bedroom with king bed and ceiling fan. Main bedroom on second floor is private and not connected to other two second floor bedrooms and sitting area at the front of the house.

Air conditioning: There are three ductless-split air conditioning units--one in the dining room, one in the main bedroom on the second floor and one in the office/sitting area on the second floor.

Enjoy the sizeable lawn with deck, patio, enclosed outdoor shower, outdoor furniture, hammock, bbq and hanging lights for a lovely time day and night. Large side yard is great for outdoor dining, relaxing & games!

Wonderful location---only a half mile to Mayo Beach or Wellfleet Center. Walk or bike to Mayo, the beloved library, the pier or town center for restaurants including Mac's Shack, Mac's on the Pier, Pearl and the Bookstore, plus great shops and galleries. Short drive to all the best of Wellfleet including freshwater ponds, bay and ocean beaches, golfing the Cape Cod Rail Trail and Cape Cod National Seashore beaches, trails and historic sites.

* Ship ladder stairs, commonly found in antique homes, are characterized by steep steps and narrow treads.
