Heron Cove’s open floor plan, vaulted ceiling, oversized windows and skylights provide abundant natural light and bring the outside in. There is ample space for socializing inside and out, and private areas for kids/teens as well as for remote work.

The home is thoughtfully designed with ash floors, quartz countertops, large pantry, colorful tile, gas fireplace, 4 skylights, blown glass fixtures, live-edge benches, outdoor shower with windows, and a two-level mahogany deck

Heron Cove has central heat/air conditioning from a new heat pump system, as well as other green technologies like solar panels, on-demand hot water, and solar skylights.

The house is about a mile to Indian Neck beach and close to everything else that Wellfleet and the Outer Cape offers. It's also a short walk through the woods to Chipman’s Cove (not a swimming area) and a deeded overlook that provides views of Wellfleet harbor, Indian Neck and Great Island beyond.

We’ve vacationed in Wellfleet for 4 decades, first as kids with our parents, and then with our own now-grown children. Our goal with Heron Cove was to build a house we would have been thrilled to rent, and we’ve provided all that you need for a perfect stay.

If you don't know Wellfleet, you're in for a treat. Wellfleet is literally surrounded by the beauty of the Cape Cod National Seashore, a 43,000 acre national park with 40 miles of Atlantic coastline. Pristine beaches (bay and ocean), amazing fresh water ponds, marshes and forests abound for play, exploration and relaxation. Plus there's Wellfleet’s Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary for birding; the Cape Cod Rail Trail for biking; Wellfleet cinema and drive-in movie theater, a local theater company, a sprawling flea market twice a week, a great public library, a public golf course, tennis courts, many galleries, and wonderful restaurants and bars. Nationally known musicians perform in the area 2-3 times a week during the summer months. Provincetown, 20 minutes away, offers countless shops, restaurants, galleries, dune tours, whale watching, and many other activities.
