This peaceful open layout cottage located in the town of Wellfleet is flooded with natural light and beauty. The cottage has been fully renovated, inside and out. Inside you will find a high vaulted ceiling above the dining and kitchen areas creating a perfect place to gather. The comfortable living room has a flat screen TV with stick, books, magazines and a few board games to play. The entire house has new wide plank floors made of cherry and maple, an AC/mini-split unit, ceiling fan, spiral staircase to the loft, sky lights and new kitchen and bath.

Outside you will find a 300 sq ft deck off the dining room and kitchen area. This is a great place to enjoy the beauty of nature looking out onto the Herring River conservation area. You'll also find a designated BBQ grilling space next to the deck, a hammock and enough room to play frisbee, T ball or game of your choice.

The garage is equipped with a W/D, some extra beach chairs and a ping pong table. You can also store your bikes, paddle board, kayak or whatever other beach toys you may have.

You can conveniently walk into town even though the cottage is tucked away at the very end of a dead end dirt road. First stop at Flying Fish for morning coffee and homemade baked goods, continue to main street and visit the shops or go to the market. Drive 5 minutes to Newcomb Hollow Beach, 2.8 miles away. On your way to the beach depending which route you take there are 2 ponds. Gull Pond and Long Pond, both great for distance swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing or young children learning to swim. At sunset - ride your bike 5 minutes down to Wellfleet Harbor and watch the sunset as you sit at a picnic table eating Mac's Seafood followed by an ice cream!

Wellfleet actually has four beaches, the closest being Newcomb Hollow. Maybe you'll want to explore and pick your own favorite beach. Just make a right instead of a left onto Ocean View Drive to find; Cahoon Hollow Beach, White Crest Beach and Le Count Hollow Beach.
