Limin' - a Caribbean term meaning to hang out with friends, relaxing, or taking it easy.

The name says it all. This cottage has been designed with one thing in mind, relaxing with friends and family in a high-end coastal vibe. Vintage 1930’s Cape Cod cottage on the outside. Light, bright and completely renovated on the inside oozing coastal charm.

Just a short stroll to Pleasant Point and Blackfish Creek. An ideal location to kayak, paddleboard, and swim at high tide. At low tide watch Wellfleet’s commercial shellfish farmers work their grants or grab a chair and your favorite cocktail and catch some spectacular sunsets at the water’s edge.

Limin’ Cottage has been remodeled with a focus on comfort, convenience and casual entertaining. Two bedrooms with ensuite baths. One bedroom has a king size bed. The other is a queen size bed. The mattresses are new SAATVA brand with 50 adjustable firmness options. Each side with its own firmness control. Each bedroom has a smart TV.

Bathrooms are light and bright, with tiled showers, and double sink vanities. Kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, flatware, dishes and glassware. Brand new appliances include an induction range, fridge with filtered water and ice dispenser, dishwasher, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. The open layout makes it easy to connect between the kitchen, Livingroom, and dining area, ensuring that you can spend quality time together no matter where you are in the cottage. Gather around the dining table near the windows with seating for up to 6 and enjoy a picture worthy spread or game night.

After a day spent exploring the nearby beaches, rinse off in the convenient outdoor shower and then relax in the Adirondack chairs by the fire pit with your favorite beverage. For dinner head over to the alfresco dining area on the private deck with BBQ grille and dining table for 6. Whether you're entertaining guests or just enjoying an evening in, both spaces are sure to impress.

Other amenities include a Sonos speaker, 6 beach chairs, beach towels and cooler, 2 kayaks located at Pleasant Point landing, washer and dryer located in basement (accessed through bulkhead). Linens and towels provided. Entire cottage enjoys central A/C. There are two homes on one lot. Limin' Cottage is at the front of the lot with another property located behind.

The cottage is in close proximity to all that Wellfleet and the outer Cape has to offer. For swimming, the warm, calm waters of Indian Neck bayside beach are 2.9 miles away. The soaring dunes and wild waves of the oceanside beaches such as Marconi, White Crest and Cahoon Hollow are all within 3 to 4 miles.

Wellfleet is also known for its many natural kettle ponds, Gull Pond, Long Pond and hidden Duck Pond, all within 4 miles. Exploring on foot, the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary/ Mass Audubon has extensive trails along the bayside and is within 4 miles. The Cape Cod Rail trail offering 25 miles to bike, walk or run has a trailhead 1.5 miles away, across from PB Boulangerie, Wellfleet’s finest bakery. Head to downtown Wellfleet for shopping, food and entertainment (2.5 miles). Provincetown’s MacMillan Wharf is a 25 minute car ride away. For local golf, tennis, pickleball, check out Wellfleet’s Chequessett Neck Yacht and Country Club 4.5 miles and/or Truro Highland Links, one of the Cape’s oldest courses, perched high along windswept bluffs overlooking the Atlantic, next to the vintage Highland Light.

    If you need a vacation you NEED this house!

    From the moment we arrived, we were stunned at how beautiful the house and neighborhood was. Everything we needed for a relaxing and fun weekend was taken care of. The cottage is pristine, comfy, and has plenty to offer from the grill to the fire pit. Plus, the kayaks made for an unbelievable morning on Black Fish Creek. I have stayed in Wellfleet many times over the years but this has become my new favorite space in the area.

    We had a delightful stay in this cozy cottage. It is a well-designed, tasteful, comfortable, super clean, and well-stocked home. The gorgeous hydrangeas blooming in the garden were a bonus. Karin was a wonderful host, responsive and responsible.

    Charming Cape Cottage

    We had a fabulous week at this perfect cottage in Wellfleet. It was superbly appointed with everything from the advertised fresh linens, towels, and beach chairs for 6, to the unadvertised yet extremely appreciated array of spices, Keurig cups, and (my favorite) a full set of Oxo kitchen utensils. Everything was well organized and very clean. We have rented on the Cape for years and have not come across a place quite like this before. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly.     We had an amazing time at the Limin' Cottage and would rate beyond 5 stars if we could. Everything at the cottage was in perfect condition when we arrived. The owners have done an exceptional job in stocking the cottage with everything you need for a relaxing vacation; they have thought of everything. The cottage is equipped with all modern furnishing, appliances, décor, comfortable beds, and luxuriously bathrooms (it is even better than the pictures). We also enjoyed grilling and eating many meals outdoors at the picnic table. The owners were great to work with throughout the entire process, they were kind, courteous, and respectful of our privacy. We loved the location of the cottage, less than 10-minute stroll to the water, super quiet neighborhood that is great for walking, as well as easy access to anything you would want to do in Wellfleet (shopping, harbor, beaches, ponds, restaurants, etc.). Our trip was one we will never forget thanks to this awesome rental. We hope we can come back to the Limin' Cottage again.

    Best lace to stay in Wellfleet. As someone who grew up in Wellfleet it is awesome to find a place so great to bring the family home. The cottage, property, location, and owners are epic. Can not recommend this place enough for a true cape vacation. Thank you so much for having us!

    The cottage is simply beautiful! It has a cottage feel but with all the conveniences of a modern house. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood and relaxing at the fire pit. The owners, Karin and Matt, made the stay easy. Even though we packed our own, they had many items, including coffee, condiments and spices. They even had soaps and paper products. They thought of everything here. They also supply great quality linens, bath and beach towels. I can't imagine staying anywhere else after our stay here. show more show less

    Newly renovated! Lovely Cottage with lots of thoughtful details.

    We loved staying in this Pleasant Point Cottage! Everything is new, and with lots of nice touches, like spices in the cabinet, and foil in the drawer, it feels like home. The owners live next door and are helpful and super friendly. Highly recommended!

    The cottage is beautiful! You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the design and furnishings so that guests would feel relaxed and on vacation. It's located off the beaten path, in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts live in the other house located at the back of the property. They greeted us on our first day to make sure we had everything we needed which was appreciated. My favorite things were hanging at the fire pit, the outdoor shower, and my hotel like bed!     We had a great time at the cottage. We usually stay in Wellfleet in August but we decided to try earlier in the season and it was perfect. Everything is open but less crowded with very little traffic. The cottage is exactly as described, extremely clean, and super comfortable. Everything is brand new. We had 5 people in our party and the cottage size was perfect. The kitchen has everything you need if you decide to stay in which we did a couple nights. The beds are wonderful and one of our friends slept on the pull out sofa and now wants to buy one for her house. The owners, Karin and Matt, are a great resource for dinner recommendations, and things to do. They even opened up their backyard bar for us and hosted us for an impromptu happy hour along with their adorable golden retriever! We will definitely stay again. show more show less

    We fell in love with Wellfleet over 30 years ago. Weekend warriors for 15 years, we made the plunge and moved to Wellfleet year round 15 years ago. We are proud to be a part of the local community. Our goal with Limin' Cottage is to share our love of Wellfleet with our guests and perhaps show them the local side of the outer cape and some of our secret hiding spots. We recently renovated Limin' Cottage with a goal to make it relaxing, yet with a high end, chilling coastal vibe. The feedback from our first rental season in 2023 was super positive. We hope to keep adding new services to make our guests' stay even more relaxing and memorable every season.

    What is special about this property?
    Location, Location, Location...we are at the end of a dead end street with peaks of of Blackfish Creek across the street (even better views on the shoulder seasons). Just a short 5 minute stroll to the water, or for the more adventurous we are within walking distance to miles of public hiking and running trails around Blackfish Creek, Pleasant Point, and Fox Island Marsh. The house is 100% renovated, everything is updated, and we try hard to think of every amenity we would want on our vacation and make sure we have that available for our guests. We want to impress and keep the same guests coming back year after year.

    What is special about your town?
    We LOVE Wellfleet. When we decided where to buy on Cape Cod back in the mid 1990's, we vacationed every where on the outer cape and by far fell in love with Wellfleet the most. The bayside and ocean side beaches are the best, the bar scene and live music scene is better than the surrounding towns, the restaurants are world class, and downtown Wellfleet is like something from a Normal Rockwell painting giving it that small town All American vibe that is unfortunately disappearing these days...and something that surrounding Eastham and Truro do not have...What else do you need?
