Sunny, 4BR Classic Cape Cod House w/AC, Steps to Beach

My family has rented in Centerville for 8 years but this year we opted for this beautiful house in West Yarmouth. The house was perfect for our extended family with plenty of room for all. The beach is across the street and was never crowded during our stay. With the beautiful views this was our most relaxing vacation yet. Can't wait to go back!

For 10 years now our family has been spending our summer vacation week on Cape Cod. We've tried numerous locations from Falmouth to Harwichport. But this year (2022) in West Yarmouth. we found the most ideal, centrally located home for our family vacation. A classic traditional Cape home that has been updated with all the current day amenities – central air, updated bathrooms (2), new kitchen / appliances, outdoor shower, gas grille, washer/dryer – it lacked for nothing. Four good sized bedrooms, a dining room and large family living room complete the inside. If I tell you it took more than 3 minutes to walk across the street and down a private path to enjoy the serenity of Lewis Bay that would be because the 7-year olds, dragging their own boogie boards, liked to stop and smell the roses and pick up every shell along the way. Lewis Bay is ideal for the younger children. Calm, sandy (although they prefer to wear water shoes), entertaining with plenty of passing ferries and boats to observe sailing by and plenty of shells to add to their collections. Convenient because you can walk back to the house for lunch and safely leave you belongings at the beach. After a day at the beach the fenced in yard is more than large enough for the kids to burn off their excessive energies. Should you prefer ocean style beaching there are multiple choices just a short drive away too. Speaking of driving, downtown Hyannis (restaurants, shops, JFK Museum to name a few) are all just a few minutes away and all other Cape activities can easily be reached from here too. We can't wait until we can figure out our vacation schedule for next year to book another week – maybe 2! show more show less

This is the second year my family of seven thoroughly enjoyed our vacation here. The house is clean and spacious with all the amenities needed. We so enjoyed the outside shower after a salty, sandy day at the beach. The beach is perfect for all and just a short walk to and from. We all enjoyed different lawn games after the beach and a quick walk back to the beach to watch an amazing sunset. Cool breezes from the beach at night certainly kept us comfortable! The owner is attentive, helpful and available if needed.
There are so many restaurants, shops, parks and museums in the area. We will look forward to returning to this amazing vacation spot next year!! show more show less

Beautiful house close to all that West Yarmouth and Hyannis have to offer. Great views of Lewis Bay and a very short walk to a kid friendly beach. House was clean and perfect for our family visit of four adults and two young children. Owner was very responsive. We will stay again.

Just returned from an amazing week at this beautiful home. Perfect location, literally right across the street from the beach. The kids had a blast. Woke up to ocean views every morning. Such a cozy, adorably decorated beach cottage.

Scott was very accommodating and reachable if needed. Will definitely stay again!
