Our family just returned from our 2nd stay at Chris ' home.
The home is exactly as described . We just love the decor and that it is immaculate. You will have all things needed to have a wonderful time. Our family enjoyed making family meals , sitting outdoors in the beautifully landscaped fenced in yard. Our lab had a great time with her frisbie and ball.
Chris has been extremely flexible , he is very accessible and truly cares for his guests.
You would not want to pass up on this home, he just rebooked for our 3rd stay for next year. show more show less

"X" marks the spot... This is where you want to haul up and drop anchor while visiting on Cape. The "livin' is easy" here: relaxing, comfortable, casual. High ceilings, skylights, wood floors, thoughtfully decorated, nicely furnished. Plenty of room to stow gear, food, beachcombing treasures, and the odd guest. "Mr. Clean" clean. A spacious, level, fenced-in backyard offers an outdoor shower, big grill, and turf for the kids and Fido to fetch, zoomie, or bask in the sunshine. Have fun with the bikes, basketball hoop, board games, books, washer&dryer, and more. Great, friendly neighborhood. Excellent location- a few examples: five minutes to Cape Cod RailTrail access point with parking; Route 6 minutes away; two Stop&Shops two minutes by car; nine mile drive to the House of Gorey (Edward). Take in a game or sign up for a clinic with Cape Cod Baseball League's Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox: their home field is two minutes on foot down the street. A selection of nearby farmers markets. Your choice of beaches, lakes, recreational activities. Or, get pretty much anything delivered via DoorDash, InstaCart, Uber Eats. We spent a great week with our 3 children in this house. It is very clean, comfortable, well decorated and perfect size for our family. We loved the fireplace and the cozy living room. Our boys enjoyed playing with some toys left by Chris children. The house is also well situated in a quiet neighborhood where we could do some skateboarding safely ! The owner, Chris is very accommodating and responsive. We would definitely recommend this house !

Our family rented with the same realtor for 20 years when we were notified she would be retiring. We outreached to Chris and from our 1st interaction with him , we could tell he was a caring and responsible owner. Chris has always been accessible , he responds promptly . Prior to our arrival he outreached again to give us detailed information on the home and during our stay he checked in several times to see if we had any questions or needed anything.
The home is immaculate . As we love to cook , we were impressed with all the needed cooking utensils and supplies we needed. The beds are extremely comfortable, the furniture is in great shape and suited our family very well whether for sitting and watching TV, or playing cards, etc.
Our dog enjoyed playing ball in the fenced in back yard, it was such a relief that we could bring her. . We enjoyed sitting outdoors each evening on the deck. The area is very quiet and the neighbors very friendly.
Our family would highly recommend this rental.
We have already outreached to book again for next year.

I stayed for 4 months (Jan-Apr) and I had an excellent experience. Chris was great to work with. He was proactive about communication, and responded quickly to messages. The house was exactly as pictured, and had everything I needed for a great stay. The furniture was comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with all the essentials. I especially liked the fireplace on the snowy winter nights, while my dog loved the huge, fully fenced backyard. I worked remotely throughout my stay, and the Wi-Fi was reliable.

The house is conveniently located with easy access to Route 6 and Route 28, and there are a few grocery stores close by. I enjoyed walking/running in the neighborhood, as well as on the nearby Cape Cod Rail Trail. It's a quick drive to Long Pond, Bass River, and the South Yarmouth beaches. This is also a great jumping-off point for seeing other parts of the Cape.

We had the best stay! Chris was super accommodating and great to work with. The house has a beautiful New England charm and everything you would need. The neighborhood was a great location to bike, walk, run. We took Kayaks out fishing on Long Pond which was 2 minutes away. We also spent a couple days at the beach (Mayflower and Bank St). Shopped in Chatham and Hyannis! Couldn't really ask for anything more! Will be back again in the future!

After spending many years vacationing on the Cape, we have discovered a real gem. The house was clean, comfortable and in a great location. We were allowed to bring our family dog who loved the fenced-in back yard. It was close to beaches, restaurants and the Cape Cod Rail Trail. The owner, Chris, was wonderful to work with and very accommodating. We would definitely rent again in the future.

Beautiful home, close to just about anything you would want to do. Comfortable and quiet neighborhood close to numerous beaches and ponds, great dining and central to most other points of interest around the Cape.

We found ourselves right at home with our dogs, and Chris could not have been more accommodating. After years of rentals around the Cape, this home stands out in many respects and we cannot wait to return!
