This little cottage was perfect for our family get away. We had a great time, enjoyed the short walk to the beach, close to a lot of great restaurants and other Cape Cod activities. Jacki takes great care of her cottage, it's very clean and well stocked with all necessary amenities. Jacki is a great host making sure we were well informed on everything! We would definitely stay here again on future trips to Cape Cod!

My husband and I spent a relaxing and fun Labor Day weekend at the cottage. We enjoyed everything! We spent our days walking to the beach and lounging outside. We enjoyed the beautiful comfy living room and the comfiest couch ever! We got to watch our favorite shows together at the end of nice long day. Everything was so clean, cozy and beautifully decorated with thought put into every detail. We loved the peaceful setting and yet we were still were close to everything including wonderful seafood dinners each night. A much needed restful long weekend on the cape! We can't wait to go back!

This was our third summer stay at the Big Little Cottage. It rained a lot-- but because the cottage is in such good condition, and the interior well-appointed, we did not mind some time spent indoors. We read in the spacious Family Room (comfortable couch!) and did yoga classes with Peloton on the big-screen TV. Jacki equips the cottage with a Roku in "Guest Mode," so I could easily adapt my video subscriptions to her screen. There is always plenty to do on the Cape--this time, we conducted a search for the best lobster roll, and made cross-island journeys to find it. The cottage has everything you need (beach supplies, and a wagon to get them there, which is just a pleasant walk away) and nothing you don't-- which makes it a perfect place for a simpler life, enjoying nature, long walks, the beach, and good lobster rolls (my definition of a perfect summer getaway). Jacki is also very responsive to questions you may have, while her guest.

Jacki was extremely organized and professional. She emailed information sheets before we got there and had them in the house too. The house was clean and perfect for our family. In the shed she had everything you would need for a day at the beach. The house was on a quiet street and only a 10 minute walk to the resident only before which we loved. Our experience with Jacki was a 10/10!!!

Staying a the BLC was a joy for us. Our first time but it won't be our last. Very engaging, comfortable, all the amenities, close to everything, felt instantly relaxed. When you go away you still want that feeling of being home and that was the feeling that we had staying there. (The only difference is you're living in Cape Cod) This a a true gem to add to anyones repertoire of nice places to stay and it is definitely at the top our list!!!!

This cottage was adorable! It was clean and inviting with plenty of room for 2 couples. Nice, quiet neighborhood, Close to beaches and to the hubbub of Rt. 28. Nice outdoor area with an outdoor shower included. Would definitely recommend this house.

We stayed at the Big Little Cottage for the second time in two summers-- and this time for three weeks! This was the ideal amount of time to completely relax and develop a mindless routine (who wants to strategize too much during vacation)? We started almost every morning with coffee at the little windmill beach, a 20-minute walk (at most) from the cottage. The Family Room is large enough to do a Peloton yoga class for two or three, and our hosts' Roku access and large TV screen made this possible. A great starting point for my husband's daily bike rides. Most afternoons, we would stroll to the beach, with a wagon filled with all beach necessities (also provided by our hosts) trailing behind us. This beach is also a pleasant 15-20 minute walk. The cottage is located mid-Cape, so access to the far reaches of the Cape, with dune tours and great fresh seafood at Chatham Pier are all within reach. It turns out that Jackie is not only a great host but a foodie, too-- and she provided great insider tips as to where and what to eat! The house itself has been refreshed, is air-conditioned and very clean. It is stocked with everything you'll need, but without a lot of complicated excess. Definitely a simple, and therefore wonderful, beach respite-- the perfect anecdote to a busy work life. We would love to go again!

What a lovely place for a small family getaway. The house was so clean. It was not cluttered at all and everything felt on the new side. The outdoor shower was great so as to not track in sand. The area is quiet yet convenient to the main road. The beach within walking distance was perfect, brown sugar sand, small waves and warm water. It really didn't even get crowded. We were very happy with our trip. Just a heads up though, 2nd bedroom bunk beds are a tight squeeze and kind of noisy. The kids kept each other up with the creaking. Lol! It was nice to have our room on the other side of the house. The living room was light and spacious. The table outside was perfect for dinners Al fresco. Loved the Turkish towels.

The Big Little Cottage was so cute, clean and homey. I loved it as soon as I walked in! The location is close to the beaches, restaurants and a great little bakery. I would highly recommend The Big Little Cottage to anyone looking to spend some time at beautiful Cape Cod. Jacki the owner was wonderful to work with. I look forward to future visits!

The big little cottage far exceeded our expectations! The smiles never left our faces upon arriving and walking in the front door. It was so clean, so neat and the decor was colorful, beautiful and so welcoming! There is so much space, we especially loved the big room in the back in the evenings to unwind and watch tv or listen to music/play games. The back bedroom is so cozy, and the bed was very comfortable! We loved all the hanging space and drawers for clothes. Outdoor shower was perfect! (A cape cod must). The kitchen is equipped with everything you may need! Location is wonderful, so close to the beach and all the local favorites.

Jacki was an absolute JOY to communicate and work with, you can tell this home is her pride and joy and it surely shows when staying here. 10/10 recommend!! We will definitely be back!!!

The Big Little Cottage is wonderful. We had a really nice stay. The place was clean, well kept, and Jacki (one of the owners) was a wonderful resource in terms of things to do on the Cape.

We had another wonderful stay this year at The Big Little Cottage! Our children were so excited to be back - they love the bunk bed room and the huge couch in the back family room! They feel at home as soon as we arrive.

The cottage is clean, cozy and so cute! Jacki's (and Adam's) attention to detail as well as little updates throughout the cottage from last year were so appreciated! The washer and dryer, necessities in the kitchen and the beach chairs and new beach wagon were a huge huge help - we packed less!

We look forward to staying every time we come back to the cape. Hopefully we can make it every year!!

Absolutely perfect getaway at this cottage. It was so beautiful on the inside. The backyard was perfect and it was so relaxing to sit by the fire or lounge on the chairs. The kitchen had everything you need to cook. The location was perfect too - close to everything yet hidden and quiet. We absolutely loved it here and cannot wait to go back soon.

We spent two-and-a-half peaceful weeks, during an otherwise tumultuous time (Hurricanes Henri and Ida) at the Big Little Cottage. The house itself is darling, exquisitely clean, and decorated with love. It has nothing more, and nothing less, than what one needs while on vacation-- which is my definition of comfort. Nothing to think about (!!) when making a trip to the beach-- beach buggy, microfiber towels, and new beach chairs included. It is a pleasant walk to the beach, or to a great neighborhood bakery and gelato shop.

Jacki was immediately accessible when any small issue arose. All the ingredients to clear a busy mind after a busy, sometimes difficult, year. Now that we have our beach routine down, and have made good local discoveries, we will definitely be back!

I found Jacki and the cottage in a Cape Cod rentals Facebook group! We knew that the cottage was in the process of being renovated when we booked, but had a really good feeling about this rental. So glad we booked with Jacki and Adam! We've really enjoyed following along with all the updates. A lot of love has gone into this cottage and it shows!

We had a great stay in the cottage for the week! Everything was perfect- really everything we needed! From the central A/C, to the comfy futon couch in the front living space, to the big table to accommodate all four of us for meals, to the comfortable beds, to the fully stocked kitchen with whatever we needed to cook, to the washer and dryer, to the spacious back living/family room, to the beach buggy and chairs, to the beach towels, and the backyard with a grill and beautiful fire table!

Our kids had so much fun in this house, playing with their toys, exploring the chest of board games, spreading out on the sectional couch watching tv after a long day at the beach, playing in the backyard, eating dinner outback and roasting marshmallows on the fire table! And it offered my husband and I the perfect place to relax once the kids went to bed!

Jacki was wonderful with all her recommendations on places to check out during our stay. Our kids fell in love with Caffe Bertini Gelato in the neighborhood! My daughter has been asking to go back for gelato since we left! Lol!

The location is great too! So close to everything, and Smugglers beach which we ended up falling in love with!

Would highly recommend renting with Jacki and Adam! You will not be disappointed!

We made some wonderful family memories during our stay. We just love this cottage and the neighborhood! We are already thinking about how we can squeeze in a week here next year!

Very cute, clean, close to everything on the cape! Within walking distance of Windmill Beach, Skippers, and Smugglers! A/C worked beautifully, the backyard was nice and private, and the neighborhood was very quiet. Definitely recommend!

We rented this house 7/17-7/24. After a tough year just needed to get away. During a search I came upon this cottage for rent due to a cancellation. So happy I was able to contact Jacki to secure the week to rent. We had a great vacation and Jacki was great.

The cottage was so clean and spacious for our family of 5. It was equipped with everything you needed. I would highly recommend staying at the Big Little Cottage.

We had a perfect week's stay here and enjoyed everything about the big little cottage. The best thing is that everything is so new and clean (the opposite of so many other outdated, worn out small Cape cottages).

The large back living room was an excellent hang out room with a great new sectional couch and modern TV. The back yard is also really nice, and had the weather been better we definitely would have spent more time there. As it was, we did enjoy a few nights under the lights with the fire pit and the new Weber grill.
