We had a great week at the 'Blue Clam' house ! We found the house to be sparkling clean, well supplied, and very inviting. It was an extremely warm week on the Cape with temps in the 90's on some days, yet we were very comfortable with A/C throughout the house! The backyard had everything we needed and the outside shower was a great way to start the day. We would rent again without question. Thank you to our host, Denitsa. Your home is lovely!

This was our second time staying here, for our wedding week in 2024 and this June for our anniversary. I'm originally from the Cape, so it's always special to come back home and this house makes it even better. It's super dog friendly, has plenty of space for family and friends, and is in the perfect location. The house is clean, well-stocked, and really well taken care of.

By far one of the cleanest and nicest places we've stayed at. The home was spacious enough for six of our family members to enjoy vacation. The house was spotless and close to everything. We were able to bring our two dogs on vacation with us which was a plus. We would definitely stay here again if we decide to vacation at the Cape again.

This home served our needs very well for our week on the Cape. We were 4 adults and 3 children. There was plenty of room for all of us. Location was ideal, close to everything! House was clean, working air conditioning and great yard.

We had an amazing and relaxing weekend and this home presented everything needed for just that. Spent most of the time in the backyard, where there was so much space and seating. I highly recommend this home for any Cape Cod vacationers coming in!

Perfect pet-friendly beach house!

We had a wonderful time staying at this pet/kid friendly beach home. The house is clean, beautifully decorated, and well kept. My kids enjoyed playing in the fenced in yard and everything was super cozy! This house is close to EVERYTHING. Restaurants, mini-golf, grocery store, shopping, ice-cream, arcade, indoor water park, multiple beaches and parks. The beach is gorgeous and easily accessible. I honestly can't say enough about the location of this home and of course, the home itself. The owner is responsive, honest and really tries to do everything she can for her guests. We LOVED it and will be back!!

After 15 years of visiting the Cape with our RV, this year we sold the RV and looked for a rental. We found the website Weneedavacation.com. After searching the website we were fortunate to find the Blue Clam House in West Yarmouth. Home owner Danitsa replied almost immediately to our inquiry.
She answered all our questions and after looking at the pictures and property description we eagerly booked. Danitsa kept in constant communication concerning all the details and the lease which was all done electronically.
Before arriving we received a complete packet with details about the house along with an exhaustive list of places to see and recommended restaurants. The house was as described. Beautiful, roomy, loaded with all the amenities you could want for a great vacation including beach gear and a great backyard with a grill, firepit and seating. Upon arriving I had a few questions and Danitsa replied immediately.

An update comfortable modern home . Every thing I needed to work remotely and to relax and enjoy the Cape. Convenient location to mid Cape food and fun! Denitsa took good care of us when TS Lee did a drive by:). Would definitely stay again.

We rented this beautiful house for our family vacation on cape cod. The home was spacious and accommodated 5 adults and our 5 grandkids. We were able to use the lovely backyard for BBQ, roasting marshmallows, and playing board games on comfortable couches . Our 5 year old grandson loved to play in the sandpit and rest on the hammock. Since the rental was Sunday to Sunday, we did not encounter the usual traffic on a Saturday. The house is well maintained, has gleaming hardwood floors, and provided many extras such as AC, updated appliances, washer/dryer, and even a ping/pong table. This was a fabulous find!

This house was perfect for our family's beach vacation. My fiance and I wound up sleeping in the full bunk beds and were grateful that they weren't twin bunks! Perfect amount of space in each room for family. Our dog loved spending time with us in the backyard. My Dad who is not a big beach guy enjoyed spending the afternoons sitting out back when we were still lingering at the very nice beach down the street. The closest beach to the house (Sea Gull) was not crowded at all and was a short drive from the home. We were also super close to the start of the Rail Trail! Grateful for the beach chairs in the garage and the spare propane in case the grill ran out (which it didn't). Denitsa was a very responsive host and her welcome guide had some great local recs inside. Overall would love to come back and spend another week (month? entire summer?) at this house!

Our family cannot put into words what an incredible time we had add this home and how much it added to our Cape Cod vacation. Everything from cleanliness to functionality, beauty and communication with the owners was perfect.

- The House -
Pictures do not do it justice. It is a large, open, clean and BRIGHT (exceptional natural lighting) home with plenty of space to spread. Our 11-month old daughter had a blast just chasing everyone around the house. Furniture is comfortable and the beds are even more comfortable. I never sleep as well as in my own bed, except here. It was better. I had to ask the owner where she bought the pillows for which she said I was not the first person to ask. Now I'm waiting for my new pillows in the mail.

The air conditioning consists of multiple wall units connected to a central system. These are not the stereotypical "window" units one may imagine, but permanent wall installations providing amazing comfort throughout the home on hot days which can have customized temperature settings for each unit (in every room except the kitchen and bathrooms - which does not matter as the home has wonderful circulation). This system was a saving grace during the hottest days and nights. I have only ever seen these units used in Southeast-Asia, but they work better than traditional ACs (for context - I was never hot indoors in Vietnam, despite outdoor temps of 45 degrees celsius).

The backyard was also a wonder which I regret not spending enough time using. Large, recently landscaped and full of lounging furniture and activities for all. First - I have to mention that we used the outdoor shower daily after our beach visits or walks in the sand. It was exactly what we needed and not freezing. The temperature was as controllable as an indoor shower. The sand box (more like a beach replica) is great for kids and there are plenty of outdoor toys for kids. My only regret is that we never had a chance to use the fire pit despite the garage being fully stocked with firewood. We never used the BBQ but it appeared in fine condition. Overall, the backyard was a great place to relax in the morning when planning our days and evenings when winding down.

The driveway has ample space for many vehicles and can be accessed from two separate roads as a "drive-through".

- Location -
I wouldn't even bother looking at the "distances" to different areas as the home is so close to everything. Despite technically being situated in West Yarmouth, it is probably a 5 minute drive from anything in Hyannis - a drive during which you will be busy gazing at the surroundings and potential places to go. A CVS is a 1-minute drive from the home and there are multiple grocery stores in very close proximity. The point I'm making is that the house is close to everything.

- Communication -
Denitsa was fantastic to communicate, answer questions and even problem solve with in a timely manner. We initially had issues transferring our payment from a Canadian bank account; however, Denitsa was extremely understanding and patient with us in problem solving as we worked out the issue on our end.

Denitsa was very quick to respond and go out of her way to accommodate. For example, we asked if there was an ironing board at the home. She immediately ordered an iron and ironing board which was delivered next day.

A very comprehensive and helpful welcome package is also provided to the renters answering all questions one may have and providing ample suggestions for things to do. We visited with a pretty good idea of where we wanted to eat, swim, etc., but Denitsa's suggestions affirmed some of our choices and led is to try some places we are happy to have tried and not missed!

Overall, I'm running out of characters to type, but if we were not already planning a different trip for next summer, returning here would not be a question. We will be back in 2025 and hop

My family has been renting down the Cape for 20+ years and this house exceeded our expectations. Spacious and clean with a huge backyard for relaxing. Close to beaches and restaurants as well. it was one of the best rentals we've ever had. The owners are a pleasure to work with. We loved the stay so much we've already booked for next year.

We travelled to the Cape to be close to Hyannis for an event this summer and enjoy vacation. This house was in a perfect location to enjoy all the cape has to offer. The property was very clean, well appointed and spacious enough for our large family. The outdoor space was so very peaceful with plenty of shade inside the fenced yard that included a variety of seating for lounging and dining. Denitsa was helpful and supportive and a great communicator from start to finish! Don't hesitate on this rental!

My family of 4 adults and 2 young children all enjoyed our stay this past week. This house is convenient to Nantucket Sound beaches as well as the bike trail. It is more spacious than the photos show and a perfect space for my family. It was very neat and clean. The individual room air conditioners were a bonus. We enjoyed the outdoor shower and the roomy back yard with the firepit and grill. The master bedroom was huge and the king bed was so comfy. Denitsa was very detailed in her welcome instructions and advised we could contact her with any concerns. I have rented many homes on the Cape and this home was one of the best.

We had a memorable stay at the Blue Clam. This home is centrally located and easy to get to all our favorite spots.
The hostess was very accommodating and available for any questions.
The home is well equipped for our young family with high hair, pack and play & plenty of toys.
The yard was recently renovated with a gorgeous stone patio and an outdoor shower. The yard is fenced- in , great for our 2 dogs. The back yard gets plenty of shade for late afternoon relaxation while the children napped.
The furniture inside was beautiful and the home was tastefully decorated. Everything inside was immaculate. We look forward to making our visits there a family tradition.

Close to the beach, seagull beach is absolutely gorges and only 5 min. drive.
Short drive to all main Cape Cod attractions: mini golf, ice scream, pirate museum, Cape Cod Inflatable Park, shops and restaurants.
I'm highly recommend this house !

My two young adult children (21 and 23) and I brought our dog and enjoyed a wonderful week-long vacation at the Blue Clam House. Denitsa was a great host! She communicated well, was available for questions, and ensured that we were comfortable throughout our stay. The home is beautiful, very clean, and was equipped with everything we needed. Sea Gull Beach was perfect for us, and we were only a couple miles from downtown Hyannis. We were all extremely happy with our choice of rental home and look forward to staying there again someday!

We had a great time staying here. The house was so nice and very comfortable. The split A/C units were awesome....I'd honestly say I like this set up more than central air since central air doesn't get to all rooms sometimes. These units gave a great option for how cool you want it in a particular room, without the noise of window units! The location was great....very convenient for highway access and close to so many things to do. Sea Gull Beach is within 2 miles and is very nice...with plenty of parking! The homeowners were very accommodating and quick with communication. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We would definitely consider rebooking!

The home is newly furnished and feels like new. You can tell the owners put a lot of care into the house. It's a great location. The beach is a really short/easy drive down the road. We usually stay in lower Cape but tried something new. So glad we did!

We stayed in this house as a family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 kids under the age of 10. The house is spacious, clean and very comfortable. There was enough space for all of us. There is a spacious back yard and the kids enjoyed running around there. We took trips to the beach, which is a few minutes away through leafy streets. A few streets away we found a very nice restaurant where they serve excellent lobster rolls. We had a great time.

Ritchie and Denitza were excellent hosts. They provided tips about the town and where and what we should visit and do. They were responsive when we had questions. We will definitely visit again! There is so much to do on Cape Cod!
