Cozy Cottage with Water View

My husband and I just finished our stay at "The Wheelhouse". If you are looking for a quaint Cape Cod beach cottage in a nice quiet location, this is it! The cottage was very clean and the kitchen was equipped with the necessities to prepare our own meals. The mini-split heat/AC units in every room provided for a very comfortable stay. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. We absolutely loved the roomy outdoor shower. No need to use the indoor one when you can shower under the stars! There is a nice view of Lewis Pond from the fire pit area and Seagull Beach is just a short drive away. The cottage is in a great location, and the hosts left a welcome bucket and booklet, with many great recommendations for places to eat and attractions to see. The hosts were readily available to answer any questions. We would highly recommend staying at "The Wheelhouse" and are looking forward to our next visit.

The wheelhouse was a perfect size for my family of 4. It was very cozy, welcoming, and it even had mini split ac units in every room. This place is a classic cape cod beach cottage. It's in a great location, close to the beach and many restaurants. My favorite part of the cottage is the outdoor shower and the waterfront views. I would recommend the wheelhouse to anyone looking for a classic cape cod beach getaway.

The Wheelhouse is a perfect home to stay if you are looking for an authentic Cape Cod experience. This historical neighborhood is absolutely adorable - safe, quiet, and tidy. We loved the Wheelhouse for it's waterfront views, easy parking, spacious back yard, huge outdoor shower and it's location cannot be beat - restaurants, shopping, ice cream, grocery store and Sea Gull beach are all within a 5-8 minute drive. We can't wait to stay at the Wheelhouse again next year - thank you Bobby!

This cottage was exactly what we were looking for. We've been vacationing on the Cape for decades yet never spent more than a day or two in Yarmouth.  We decided to spend a week there and were looking for a cottage with the charm of old cape cod in a peaceful setting yet close to town.  We found exactly that at the Wheelhouse.  The location is great.  The yard offers a nice view of Lewis Pond in a park-like setting. We enjoyed the short bike ride to Seagull Beach and brief car ride to the Melody Tent and Hyannis Harbor.  We also had a great time kayaking on the Bass River - just up the road!  Our host was gracious and made sure we had everything needed to enjoy our vacation.  We highly recommend the Wheelhouse cottage.  J&J      

Location! Location! Location!
What a beautiful place, close to beaches, dock to kayak from. Tennis court, great spaces for walking, bike rides and even a short walk to beach.
Cottage was super clean, gracious hosts, with all the amenities of home.
We will definitely be back here soon!!!

This home has so much Cape Cod charm and amazing views of the marsh in the backyard. Clean, comfortable and very well cared for, it was so nice to have air conditioning and absolutely love the outdoor shower!
The location is great, so close to Sea Gull Beach, shops, restaurants and many activities. The Wheelhouse has everything you need! The hosts were
very resposive and pleasant to work with, we had a great time, we will definitely be returning to the Wheelhouse!

Owner, Bob, was very friendly and attentive with excellent communication! Cottage was clean, well cared for with lovely beach decor. Near air conditioning units were amazing and kept the cottage very cool! All the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked with dishes bowls cutlery pots pans and included a keurig along with spices, oils, pam spray etc! Setting was so peaceful and quiet with a beautiful view of the water inlet! My 4 year old grandson loved walking over to the little pier (which is great for kayak users) and to the swing set! And Sea Gull beach was so close and a beautiful beach with life guards, bathrooms and concession stand! Thank you Bob for a wonderful Cape Cod vacation! Karen

This house was very cute and cozy and the location was great! It was lovely to walk around the village close to the water. The host was was very communicative and great.

We stayed at the Wheel House Labor Day weekend 2022 in West Yarmouth. We enjoyed our stay very much. A 5 minute drive to the beach, the location was perfect. There's plenty of dining options right down the street as well. It was peaceful, with even a view of the bay from the backyard. It was a very comfortable fit for our family of 4, and our young kids loved sleeping in the bunk room! The beds were comfortable, and there's both an indoor and outdoor shower. There was plenty of hot water for everyone to wash the sand off after the beach, and it was a highlight to use the outdoor shower at night under the stars! The cottage was very clean, freshly painted, night and bright inside. We enjoyed our dinners outside at the beautiful handmade oversized picnic table. The owners were very responsive and working with them was a pleasant experience. We are very happy with our time spent at the Wheel House and would absolutely consider staying here again!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! Such a cute little neighborhood with tennis courts and a great pier. Walking distance to the beach and close proximity to great restaurants and activities! Thank you so much for a lovely quiet respite from the world. The space is much larger than we expected and the outdoor shower is AMAZING! Such nice breezes outside make sitting under the umbrella at the picnic table delightful. Now if we could only do something about the Red Sox!
