Easy Short Walk to Private Neighborhood Beach

We enjoyed staying in this lovely home very much. It is bright and sunny (loved reading in the cozy living room every morning with our cup of Dunkin's), rooms were all nice size and clean, and the neighborhood is quiet. Great location too! Short walk to beach, breakfast, and short drives to restaurants and Hyannis to shop, or catch the boats to the Islands. It was a pleasure meeting the owners Sheila and Phil. Sheila communicated in a prompt manner and was very accommodating to our needs. We look forward to coming back to our home away from home.

As previous reviewers Cathy and Don stated, this house has a lovely en suite that is set apart from the main house. The suite is tastefully furnished as is the entire house. One realizes that this home is a family heirloom. The new deck and patio furniture are welcome for early morning coffee, as well as afternoon relaxation.

This is a friendly and quiet community of neighbors who are walking, biking, and enjoying all that Wimbledon Shores has to offer.

Sheila is responsive to requests and is invested in what her renters have to say about the property and amenities.

There are many clam shacks, stores, and coffee cafés to explore situated between West Dennis and Hyannis. When sitting on the private beach, one can watch the ferries go out and return from the islands as well as enjoy the beautiful sunsets.

This property is truly amazing. There is everything that you could wish for starting from silky clean bedding to new appliances, bathrooms, and an outdoor shower. The owener is very accommodating and makes your trip as seamless of a transition as it could be. My favorite part of this house is the cleanliness and spaciousness of it. The house is overall very nicely decorated and the master bedroom is outstanding. The AC system is also a huge bonus. The location of this property is excellent. The private beach is also only a 5 minute walk away and the house is situated in the heart of Yarmouth. My family and I would definitely want to return next summer if possible. show more show less

We had a wonderful time renting this Yarmouth home. The house is absolutely beautiful - it almost doesn't feel like a beach rental inside as it's completely redone and the aesthetics are so lovely and comfortable for our family of 5. We arrived to an impeccably clean home. The master bed/bath is beautiful. We really appreciated the two ceiling fans in the kitchen and master as well as the central air. The location could not have been better. We are long time Cape renters and this was the best rental so far in terms of convenience to both beach and attractions, but also with regards to the comfort of the house. It is a lovely walk to a very nice private beach and convenient for when our little one needed to nap as one of us could just walk him back while the other stayed with our older two. The house is close to our favorite Cape restaurants (Skippers, Captain Parker and a short drive from Hyannis) as well as mini golf, shopping and the water park. It also has a lovely backyard and deck that my children loved especially returning from the beach. The outdoor shower was such an added bonus (and probably why the house feels so clean being it is a beach rental). We will definitely rent this house again! show more show less

We stayed here for a week with our four children. It had all of the amenities promised in the description. The location was perfect and was a short walk to the private beach which was very convenient for our family. The property has been updated in the past year and is very well maintained. We would absolutely stay here again if we revisit the area next summer.

Gorgeous, recently renovated beach house! We stayed at this home the first week of August 2023, vacationing with our adult children (20 & 21 years old). We especially loved the way the house is set up: the master suite on one side of the house and the other 2 bedrooms on the other side. Our kids could stay up late, playing games and making noise and we were sleeping peacefully! The dining room, kitchen and living room are between the master and the other bedrooms. The full kitchen has new stainless appliances and is fully stocked with utensils, dishware, flatware and many other basics you need!

It was lovely to have the linens provided (sheets, towels and beach towels). There were plenty of towels and they are quality! The living room was stocked with games and comfy seating. We loved sitting on the deck in the morning having coffee. The outdoor shower is new and there is lots of space. Water pressure was GREAT! It's in a very cute, beachy neighborhood and it's just a short walk to the private association beach.

The house is in a really nice location. There are lots of restaurants nearby (many easily walkable). Also nearby are Pirate's Cove mini golf, Skull Island (mini golf, arcade and go karts), Cape Cod Inflatable Park, tons of shops. It's a quick drive to Hyannis(shopping, restaurants, duck boats), and about 45 minutes to the National Seashore, and about an hour to Provincetown. Don't miss the Wellfleet Drive-In for a fun, nostalgic evening!

We had a fabulous week at this newly renovated house in Yarmouth. 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 brand new bathrooms, all new kitchen appliances with a gorgeous deck and yard was the perfect home for our family. Most impressive was the short walk to a private and sparsely populated beach. Also conveniently located to restaurants, stores, golf courses, and whatever you need. We are a family in generations of Cape renters and we couldn't have been more delighted. Sheila is a very attentive and hospitable host. We highly recommend this cape rental. show more show less
