Description

Description

Welcome to “A Darling Place”, only a short, safe walk (around half a mile) to Baxter Beach! Our cozy, traditional Cape Cod style home in West Yarmouth has a front porch with a water view of Mill Creek and has been newly renovated. Our home offers generous sleeping arrangements with new memory foam mattresses, a private fenced in yard, outdoor shower, and close proximity to popular attractions like mini golf, restaurants, museums, and shopping.

Take a short 10-minute stroll to our beautiful white-sand beach at the end of Baxter Avenue and rinse off in our refreshing outdoor shower afterward. Or hop on the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket, just a short 6 minute drive away. We are also kid-friendly, offering toys, games, books and baby equipment (highchair, Pack ‘n Play, stroller). With all of the above, plus easy access to Main Street Hyannis, the Cape Cod Rail Trail, and a plethora of local beaches, there’s something for everyone.

We can sleep 8 adults comfortably with 6 beds. Bed and bath linens, beach towels and extra pillows & blankets are included in the cleaning fee. All linens are laundered between guests, including comforters.

Driveway parking is available for 2 vehicles, and an outdoor shed is available to store bikes, etc.

Looking to go green? We use LED lighting, smart thermostats, energy efficient heating and cooling, 100% renewable electricity, and we offer a large recycling bin. A level 2 electric vehicle/EV charger with a J1772 plug (compatible with Tesla via the adapter that came with your vehicle) is available for your use!

Our relaxing four-bedroom, two-bath water view home awaits you!

This was an especially great place for my extended family that included 2 toddler boys. The home was clean and modern with a layout that matched our needs. While we were in the home, the kids were entertained with plenty of toys (both indoors - on either floor - and outdoors) and books. Additionally, hosts had a high chair, beach gear, and an EV charger that we were able to use during our stay. The home was also in a great location - very close to beaches, ferries to MV and Nantucket, and shopping. Would highly recommend and have no negatives about our stay!

I don't even know where to start.
My family and I traveled with our two babies.
Finding a home that was safe, child friendly, and convenient can be tricky. Lindsay's home was PERFECT. there's a ton of Childs toys in great condition. There were so many things available in the house, we were able to pack lightly. It's an extremely friendly, quiet, and beautiful neighborhood. We took plenty of walks to the beach!
Everything is in pristine condition. I felt like I was still at home. My family and I could not stop complimenting this place and will definitely be back next year!

The property is very well maintained and clean. I was impressed with all the modern home appliances and household items. The owner takes good care of the property.

    Comfy, Clean & Convenient!

We stayed at this property for a spring break getaway with our family. It was so comfortable and clean. We really appreciated that they have kids in mind and provide so many amenities for them-- sound machines in every room, toys, child locks, and a fenced in backyard to name a few! The house in a nice, quiet walk to a nice sandy beach. Downtown Hyannis is a few minutes away. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back to this cottage again!

We were delighted with this lovely Cape home. Everything is as pictured in the listing. It's a great family home with room and toys available for small children - how sweet. We were unable to take advantage of the beach 'access' due to the weather so can't speak to the location - but hope to visit again this Summer .... it's a great location to explore the Cape from!
