Only 400 feet to Parkers River Beach, Bunker Dune has been in the Buckley family since the 1920s. Dedicated 2-car seashell parking space off South Shore Drive (just look for the wooden bench and a small statue of St. Francis of Assisi where you can sit and people watch as the joggers and people stroll by).

Before you enter the cozy cottage you’ll walk through the large outdoor patio area that has been extensively updated and modernized with new pavers and landscaping. Big charcoal and smaller Weber grill plus 2 large outdoor tables with umbrellas and plenty of seating for outdoor meals plus various chairs/lounges.

Main floor features a sun room, combo living-dining area with large TV, full kitchen, and primary bedroom with direct access to the full bathroom with a stall-shower. There is also a door to the bathroom from the kitchen. Just outside the backdoor off the kitchen is an outdoor shower. Upstairs is perfect for kids with 3 twin beds, books, games and a separate TV that plays DVDs. Window A/C units on both floors will keep you cool on those hot days when there are no ocean breezes and a full size dryer underneath the stairs will quickly dry hand-washed clothes.
