Lucy Vincent House with Access to Private Beach

After driving by the Lucy Vincent House many times during our previous vacations in Chilmark, we are glad we finally chose to stay at this beautiful historic house. The location and private access to the beach can not be beat! The house was easily large enough for our party of 8 and very clean. Private, secluded bedrooms and comfortable common areas are very well laid out The kitchen is fully stocked and very functional. The grounds are private, quiet and absolutely beautiful. The highlight has to be the 5 minute walk to Lucy Vincent Beach which can be enjoyed even outside normal beach hours- we were never able to enjoy LVB early in the morning or late at nite during our many previous visits, and the beach passes are included in the rental. Our stay at the Vincent house was perfect for my family. The location and estate was perfect for two young families, and the home was beautiful. Very relaxing experience and hope to make more memories there in the future.

This house provided it so much warmth and history. I enjoyed reading about Lucy vincent and speaking witglh locals. The simplicity, the quiet, privacy and scenery Is all too much to put into words. What an amazing experience for my family and I. I can't say enough about the location. The owner katie was very responsive and easy to work with. I can't wait to schedule our next vacation there.

What a beautiful place on the Vineyard. The location and yard are absolutely pristine Vineyard perfect. We had a wonderful stay visiting the beaches as often and effortlessly as possible. The up-island location is just great near all things needed and a great launching pad for visiting all places on the island. The house is great and very well equipped and provides endless hours of exploration and appreciation of wonderful island and family history. We have stayed at the Vincent House many, many times and always look forward to our stays! It is so relaxing, the beach is amazing and the house is beautiful. Our children love playing on the beach all day and running around the big backyard at night before cooking s'mores on the fire. This year we had family pictures taken so we can always remember our vacations here. I highly recommend staying here for anyone looking to enjoy some time away that they will never forget!
