This two bedroom, two bath cottage is located on nearly three acres with footpath access to Tisbury Great Pond, a very large saltwater pond in the Quansoo area of Chilmark. Located well off the beaten track, this area of Quansoo typifies the ''old'' Vineyard of multi-acreage properties offering rural seclusion via dirt roads w/views of fields, oceanside saltwater ponds, and the Atlantic ocean and beaches. Oaks and pines shield the house and yard, ensuring privacy.

The 1.5 mile long gated Atlantic oceanfront private Quansoo Beach is less than 1/2 mile via the included motorboat, paddleboard and four kayaks, 7/10 mile by foot or car down our small private road. A Quansoo Beach gate key is included w/ your rental.

The house offers two bedrooms, both with cathedral ceilings.
The king master bedroom has skylights, a ceiling fan, and a private en-suite full bath w/a walk-in shower.
The master bedroom wing and the bunk bedroom wing are on opposite ends of the house, entirely separated by the cathedral-ceilinged great room. There is a full BA w/ a tub/shower combo off the hallway leading to the bunk bedroom.
The bunk bedroom has a “twin-over-full/double” bunk bed and there are maximum weight limits on the bunk beds: 200 LBS on the lower double/full bed, 160 LBS on the top twin bed. This BR also has its own private entrance from the parking area and backyard.
All bed linens and comforters are supplied, as well as personal towels and beach towels.

Air conditioning is supplied by a powerful single split-system unit in the great room with the compressor located outside the house.
Cable, wifi, internet and TV service are supplied by Comcast.

The great room includes an open and fully-equipped kitchen w/ all standard appliances as well as Cuisinarts (large and mini), chef's knives, and more. Larger pots and serving platters are available for your lobster feasts!
There is a round dining table seating 5 abutting the kitchen.

The house has a furnished L-deck off the main entry and a nearby picnic table and gas kettle grill.
There is a clothesline for your beach towels, life preservers, and bathing suits after returning from your fun-filled day at the beach or from boating on the Great Pond.
There is an enclosed outside shower for personal bathing and rinsing off your salty and sandy beach and boat gear and toys.

The house has close access to Tisbury Great Pond for boating explorations w/ your included 12' motorboat, paddle board, and four kayaks. The four kayaks are located on ''Big Sandy,'' Tisbury Great Pond's only private sandy beach area. Kayak and paddleboard paddles and adult life preservers are provided as well as several beach chairs.

Tisbury Great Pond is a 1.5 miles long and up to 1 mile wide saltwater pond and is ringed by horse and produce farms, rural homesites, and large nature preserves. Its numerous peninsulas create secluded and magical coves to explore from the water when kayaking and motorboating. Quansoo Beach is a spectacular private gated beach with a strictly limited number of gate keys, offering you your own personal paradise within a hundred yards of the parking lot's footbridge and sandy pathway entry! show more show less
