Comfortable house with superb deck & outdoor seating
An inland property on walking trail along power line in state forest, about halfway along Edgartown/Vineyard Haven Rd. c. .7 mile past Felix Neck Audubon preserve. Well-stocked kitchen, good cookware. Delightful outdoor deck with comfy furniture; hammock betw. 2 trees; picnic table under pines. We used noTV/audio options, but they were ample. Only negative is no towels or sheets provided.

Very pleased
House was perfect for us and as advertised. In a quiet neighborhood it was only a short drive to both Edgartown and Oak Bluffs. Communication with the owner was easy and we received a prompt reply to our questions. Excellent experience

Great location, wonderful setting
We loved this house, was very well stocked, comfortable. Hosts were very accessible and responsive. Fabulous back porch facing the state forest, we hung out there every night star gazing. Highly recommend

Great Place to enjoy the island
It really felt like home immediately. We loved the quiet location yet easy to get anywhere. In spite of the unusual heat, the AC kept it comfortable. You could tell a lot of care went into it.

Family of Four had a Wonderful Stay...
My husband, two adult sons, and I have come to the Vineyard on and off for more than a decade and Ed's home was perfect for us. Our first stay here, and we will be back. Beautiful setting against the forest on a quiet street, lovely property and a very comfortable, airy, well equipt house, that had all we needed. Great location near Long-Point, a favorite spot, State Beach, Edgartown, and more. Highly recommend.

Great stay
My family had a wonderful time. This property was comfortable and perfectly located.

This house has a terrific backyard where you will enjoy quality family time on the deck or walking the dirt paths. Lovely accommodations with everything to make your stay comfortable. The house is located 15 minutes from Edgartown, Oak Bluffs and Vineyard haven. It's a bit far to bike. It was lovely. Just a bit off the beaten path...

The house was nice and clean upon our arrival. It provided us with everything we needed and allowed us to replenish ourselves after our day on the island and get ready to explore the town at night. We had a great time. The only thing we would change would be to have an air condition on the top floor as it got very hot at night.

This house was beautiful! It was clean, comfortable, beautifully furnished, and had great amenities, including a large deck with a table. The bedrooms were large and the beds comfortable. There were 5 of us staying at this house, 4 adults and one grandchild, and it was perfect. I would highly recommend this home and I would not hesitate to rent this property again.

We have rented on the Vineyard several times and this is one of the nicest homes we have stayed in. It is well maintained and beautifully decorated (no dust collecting "knick knacks" or clutter). This home is nicely furnished and has a well equipped kitchen, all of the small appliances, pots, pans, dishes, utensils that you will need. The back yard is spacious and private and it has a great deck/furnishings. It is a very short distance to the bike path and is centrally located on the island which makes getting everywhere a breeze! We biked to the center of both Oak Bluffs and Edgartown, and each was a quick, mostly flat, 3 mile ride. It was great to be able to relax at the end of the day away from the hustle and bustle of the town centers. The owner, Ed, was very responsive when we had a minor issue with the trash not being picked up prior to our arrival. He arranged for it to be picked up within a few hours. We thoroughly enjoyed our week; beautiful beaches, awesome restaurants, and breathe taking sunsets. I suggest, aside from Menemsha (which is quite crowded in the evening), taking in a sunset from Great Rock Beach/ Park in Chilmark. It is a short walk down to the beach, so pack lightly, from the parking area and there were only a few others on the beach with us. Definitely worth the ride! We would rent this home again in a heartbeat!
