This was a perfect vacation for our reunion of 3 adult couples. We lounged, ate, drank, and lounged some more. Some were more active and took advantage of the bike paths a block away & the nature hikes down the street.

We spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch, which felt like an outdoor living room. The bar fridge and the glassware were perfect for us.

Other points:
The landscaping was beautiful. We LOVE the hydrangeas!
Owner uses us scented detergent on sheets & towels
There are lots of towel racks, as mentioned in the description. Most rentals don't have enough
The outdoor shower is heaven

I asked Rita if she had anything for mosquitoes. She had someone, sprinkle a non-toxic product on the lawn around the patio.

Our group of friends will rent here again.

The house was absolutely gorgeous, everything was in great condition. The house appeared to be new, furniture, appliances and kitchen items all looked new and in great condition. My family really enjoyed the property and the location was very convenient. The property owner was very responsive and easy to work with.

My family and I were fortunate enough to reserve this home for two weeks of relaxation last summer. The initial back and forth with the property owner went smoothly and took place in a timely fashion. She was easy to deal with, and offered prompt responses to my questions. One week prior to arrival, I received all confirming documentation and information. Upon arrival, the home made an outstanding initial impression. The drive up appeal is excellent and the landscaping was pristine. The home was recently completed/renovated, and the entire exterior and interior looked brand new. I've rented and stayed in many private homes through the years, and this property was spotless and exceeded all expectations. The kitchen is excellent, well equipped and conducive to in-home meals. our family would not hesitate to stay here again and believe your family will enjoy every bit of it as well. show more show less

This is a Modern Contemporary Fully Updated large Home in Ocean Heights, Edgartown.
It has any and every modern convenience you could desire on your Island GetAway. Glasses, cookware like your best dinner party. Water view, a large landscaped lawn and a short walk down the street is Senge Pond for all of your water-based needs. Easy to kayak to Jaws Bridge or some of the more tranquil spots nearby. The owner is quite helpful as well if need be. My family of 4 stayed here very comfortably and had guests without any issues of space etc. The pictures are exactly how it looks. show more show less

This home was a gorgeous alternative to bland hotel rooms for our party of 6 adults, 2 children attending a wedding on island. We enjoyed the view from the deck and our grandson loved walking down to the small boat beach every morning. Our only complaint was that our stay was too short. Rita was a pleasure to work with!

As you described, what a relaxing way to spend time with family in a such a well-appointed & wonderful home on MV! We enjoyed the multiple interior and exterior water views of Sengekontacket Pond and all home amenities. The spacious kitchen allowed us to enjoy relaxing family dinners and the readily accessible screen porch flowing from the kitchen, was perfect for breakfast and adult cocktails.

We enjoyed the neighborhood serenity and walks as well as easy access to the bike path. We did not bring our kayaks to go across Sengekontacket to State Beach, but with your home's central location, we were less than a 5 minute drive to State Beach, Stop & Shop grocery store and had access to all our island interests, including restaurants.

We really appreciate the attention you gave us, and to ensuring we had a great stay in your wonderful home. Absolutely found our place and returning again!
