Looking ahead to the summer of 2027!
Bookings are now open for summer of 2027! For July 3 to August 14, 2027 weeks, we are only accepting bookings for two weeks or more. In early January, we will open up any remaining individual weeks. We will have a beautiful new back deck for next summer – same huge dimensions but with enhanced forest views and improved privacy and accent lighting. Construction begins in late September 2026, well in time for the summer of 2027!

Overview of the House:

The house is beautiful and spacious (2,350 sq ft of living area) with a brand new central air conditioning system. It"s on a private side road on a 1/2 acre with a huge front lawn and a large front porch & back deck. It"s a 1.1 mile walk to Edgartown harbor docks along gorgeous South Water Street, and the nearest little in-town beach is a 2/3rd mile walk. Lighthouse beach is a lovely 1.5 mile walk. Atlantic Ocean-side South Beach is 2 1/4 miles away along the bike path. And it’s a few minutes walk to the Katama General Store. Pets are gladly considered!<br /> <br /> The Space:<br /> The house is sunny and bright and features cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors, and abundant large windows, with newly painted walls and new sinks and faucets throughout. It has a brand new central air conditioning system and, otherwise, there are ceiling fans in each bedroom and window screens in place in each room to enjoy the fresh island air. There is a wrap-around front porch as well as a huge back deck with an outdoor table seating six and roomy deck chairs surrounding a gas fire pit table.<br /> <br /> The first floor master bedroom has a king bed with a large attached master bath with a standalone shower and a large Jacuzzi tub and slider door access to the outdoor shower. On the second floor, one large bedroom features a king bed and the other spacious bedroom has two twins (un-bunked), both with alcoves. (A "big and tall" sized foldaway cot can be added to the windowed alcove of either 2nd floor bedroom.) All beds are high quality for a comfortable night"s sleep. The second floor bath has a combination shower and Jacuzzi tub and is located just outside of the king bedroom. There is also a half bath conveniently located on the first floor at the base of the staircase that leads directly to the second floor bedroom with two twins.<br /> <br /> The kitchen has top quality stainless steel appliances, an electric stove, and all the dishware/utensils/pots/pans you will need to cook and grill too from the back deck using the large Weber grill (with attached burner). The dining room features a large dining table with six upholstered chairs. The living room has a huge smart TV (65") above the fireplace and an enormous sectional couch that can seat 6 persons comfortably. There is also a second smart TV (52") located in the master bedroom on the first floor.<br /> <br /> The outdoor shower, located in a far corner of the back deck, is easily accessible from the master bedroom slider door as well as from the main slider door in the living room. In case you"ll need to get work done during your stay, there is a large desk and office chair located in the master bedroom, a medium-sized desk and office chair in the twin bedroom, and a small desk and chair in the second floor king bedroom. The windowed laundry room, located on the first floor, has a new high capacity GE washer and dryer set.<br /> <br /> For added enjoyment you"ll find: Yoga mats in each bedroom closet, a Sharper Image massage chair in the master bedroom, a combination chess and backgammon table in the living room, a huge front yard perfect for lawn games, an outdoor ping pong table, and pots of fresh herbs to pick from on the back deck. The property is also a bird lover"s paradise and wonderful for stargazing.<br /> <br /> Guest access:<br /> 2,350 square feet of guest access space, which is the entire house except for a small mudroom off the kitchen (used for admin purposes on changeover days) and the basement. <br /> <br /> Other things to note:<br /> This is a Saturday to Saturday rental. Check-in is at 4:30pm and check-out is 10:30am. Cars can be parked and left in the driveway as early as 1pm on check-in day. <br /> <br /> For preparing coffee, you"ll have the choice of a drip coffee maker, a French press, or a Keurig coffee maker.<br /> <br /> Beach chairs, a cooler, and a beach umbrella are available for your use. For the yard, a corn hole game, disk golf game, and a Wiffle ball set are provided.<br /> <br /> To accommodate for the limited turnover time for the next guests, please choose one the following options regarding linens and towels: i) make every effort to have the last load of linens/towels in the washer before departure, ii) bring your own linens/towels, or iii) we can assist with your linen rentals.<br /> <br /> Your pet is gladly considered. Please message us describing your furry friend before booking :)<br /> <br /> For multi-week guests: Mid-stay cleanings are automatically scheduled for stays of three weeks or more.<br /> <br /> No ferry reservations available for your desired week?
