Our property is a secluded retreat on the south shore of Martha’s Vineyard. Located 3 miles down a private road, halfway between the Martha’s Vineyard Airport and the main street of Edgartown, it is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the shore or explore all that the island has to offer.

Nestled between two ponds, on a private beach along the south shore of Martha’s Vineyard, the main residence offers a 3 bedroom, 3 bath home with sweeping views. With open living room, dining and kitchen along the west side of the home, it is the perfect space for gathering. The first floor includes one bedroom with twin beds, bureau, desk and side tables. A single bathroom is for the bedroom and guests and has a large closet for clothes, linens and towels. The upstairs includes the master with a king bed, bureau, side tables, chairs and a walk-in closet and has spectacular views to the south and west. The guest room has a queen bed, desk, tables and chairs and a closet and overlooks a pond to the east and the shore to the south. There is a large bathroom with a bathtub that overlooks the pond to the east. A second bathroom has a shower. Quarters above the garage include an additional bedroom with twin beds, a sitting area and full bath. <br /> <br /> A large, covered porch facing south offers plenty of space to enjoy the amazing vista or dine outdoors. The acres of mowed grass surrounding the home provide open space for outdoor games, kite flying or star gazing. A short walk allows you to explore the beach or ponds and Edgartown, Morning Glory Farm, the Martha’s Vineyard Airport are all a brief 10–15-minute drive away. read more show less

    Breathtakingly beautiful spot
    October 2025

    Stayed here for three nights in October 2025 with our 4 young children and had a fantastic time. The house was impeccably clean and the owner, Chris, was incredibly responsive and helpful. The house has been well cared for and is a place for quiet family togetherness. The property is the perfect spot to spend long days outside- seeing wildlife and relaxing on the private and nearly deserted beach. Our children loved splashing at the small, clean pond right on the beach before heading over to jump the big waves at the ocean. There were plenty of beach toys and gear available so we didn't need to bring our own. It felt silly to leave such an unbelievable gorgeous spot, but when we did the recommendations provided by Chris in terms of places to visit (we enjoyed the Flying Horses Carousel and Katama Kitchen very much as a young family) were great. We hope to be back again soon! show more show less

    I had the pleasure of staying on this property in July. I can not possible express how perfect it was.
    The house is immaculate and the property and location are heaven. Every possible amenity is at your finger tips. The private beach is endless, the views are breathtaking and you will not want to leave.
    The owners are very approachable and see to it that your stay is lovely. You can't go wrong.

    Our family has owned the property since 1977, and the house opened in 1990. We have stable, long-term tenants who return annually because they appreciate the beauty of the thirty acres of privacy. Most of our availability is in June, early July, September and October. If you can get away, September and October on the Vineyard are special.

    What is special about this property?
    Visit all of the towns and beautiful sites on the Vineyard, but return to the serenity and beauty of our property and swim on the private and secluded beach. Enjoy meals or read a book on the porch while listening to the break of the waves.

    What is special about your town?
    While historic Edgartown is the closest town, our house is situated in the south-center part of the Vineyard so it is really easy to get to all of the scenic sites on the island.

    Edgartown is a great walking town. Lots of shops to pop in and out of. Walk along North Water Street to see the old whaling captains' homes and to the Harbor View Hotel for a great view and walk out to the Edgartown lighthouse. Other sites to visit include the Carnegie Heritage Center is on NWS, Old Whaling Church on Main Street and the
    Town Wharf has a great view of the beautiful Edgartown Harbor. Many great restaurants in Edgartown.
