Hi, I'm Lindsay! I only visited Martha's Vineyard a few times before deciding to buy — that's how special this place felt to me. There's something about the island's pace, the coastal views, and the character of the towns that just stays with you. When I had the chance to create a little home here, I took it — and it's been one of the best decisions I've made.
This isn't just a rental — it's a place I've put real thought and heart into. I've tried to make it feel like the kind of spot where you can truly relax, settle in, and enjoy everything the Vineyard has to offer. Whether you're coming for the first time or the tenth, I hope this home helps you slow down and feel connected to the island in your own way.
If you need recommendations or local tips, I'm always happy to help — and I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I do when I'm here.
What is special about this property?
What I love most about this home is how it blends comfort, flexibility, and location. It sits just across from Sengekontacket Pond, so you get a peaceful setting with distant water views and quick access to kayaking or paddleboarding — all without being far from Edgartown's shops, restaurants, and beaches.
The layout makes it easy for families or groups to spread out and relax. There's room to be together — whether it's in the open living area, the bright kitchen, or around the firepit on the back patio — and just as many spaces to unwind quietly. The newly added studio suite offers even more flexibility for guests, with its own entrance, bath, and kitchenette.
Whether you're cooking a big meal, watching the sunset, or heading out for a paddle, the home is set up to help you enjoy the Vineyard at your own pace. It's welcoming, well-designed, and just feels like a place to make memories.
What is special about your town?
There's something about Edgartown that's instantly welcoming. It has this coastal charm that's both relaxed and refined — the kind of place where you can wander past historic captain's homes one minute and be toes-in-the-sand at South Beach the next.
I love how easy it is to find whatever kind of day you're looking for — coffee and shopping in town, bike rides along the water, fresh oysters by the harbor, or quiet time out at Felix Neck. The pace is slower here in the best possible way, and there's a real sense of community that keeps people coming back year after year.
It's a town that makes it easy to feel like you belong — whether you're here for a weekend or a whole summer.
