As the photos indicate, this is a family home. Comfortable, colorful, light and airy, with good spaces to accommodate up to eight. The owner is a collector; every room has interest points. With three bedrooms, two with queen size beds and one with bunk beds and a trundle plus a crib and a play pack in one of the queen bedrooms, it is truly equipped for families. Windpw A/Cs in bedrooms. The large, child safe deck is ready for outdoor entertainment. Just off the deck is the outdoor shower. For some, this is the delight of the summer, outdoor bathing. For others, a place to rinse off the sand from the day's accumulation.

The location is superb. Less than three miles to South Beach, less than one and a half miles to Edgartown center, and less than a half mile to the Herring Creek bike path with its connections to up-island towns. At the lower rental rate, we believe this is an uncommonly good find in the very desirable Katama area of Edgartown.

    My family and I have rented 37 Schoolhouse Rd for the past 3 years for our summer vacation. We plan to rent again this summer! The house is always clean upon arrival. The bedrooms are spacious! The living room is very comfortable and open. Couches are comfortable and there is a lot of seating. The kitchen is updated and the perfect size with a large table to gather around. A huge perk is that it has AC units to keep you cool. The neighborhood is wonderful! Very quiet and great for morning walks/runs. Only 2 miles to South Beach and very close to town! We love that it is a Sunday-Sunday rental. We are able to bypass the crazy traffic on Saturdays and have better luck with getting a good ferry time. Mack is great to work with and is very responsive if you need anything! I highly recommend renting this home! show more show less
