The main house has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, and a comfortable living room with an HD Smart TV, Sonos, a gas fireplace, a cathedral ceiling and wrap-around leather sofas. The large mahogany deck overlooks the backyard with plenty of seating and includes a screened-in porch. The outdoor shower and the Weber gas grill are located off the kitchen and are nice amenities. The kitchen was recently remodeled to include a coffee | beverage bar which includes a Keurig coffee maker and a below-counter refrigerator. The owners are avid cooks; so, you will find a kitchen fully stocked with pots, pans, specialty utensils, herbs and spices.

The first-floor bedroom includes a queen bed while the second floor includes an en-suite with queen bed and shower / tub bathroom. The other bedroom contains two twin beds with bathroom access in the hallway.
The spacious guest house is connected to the main house via the breezeway and up the stairs. This area provides a separate living quarter with cathedral ceilings, an HD Smart TV, a full chef’s kitchen, a bedroom with one full bed and two twin beds and a tiled bathroom. Another mahogany deck overlooks the gardens and the firepit patio.
This is a well-maintained home with a recently renovated kitchen in the main house. The homeowner is a gardener and you will be surrounded by flowering gardens throughout the property. A stone fire pit and patio grace the backyard. The property has numerous seating areas outside to relax, talk with family and friends, or read a good book.

Other amenities include air conditioning, two clothes washers and dryers, a library / game nook. This is a well-appointed home with hardwood and ceramic tile floors and paintings throughout the home.

You are welcome to use this during your stay. Just unscrew the lid, dump the contents of the composting bucket into the barrel and screw the top back on.     Bliss in Katama

    Our family recently spent a splendid week at his lovely home at this home. The property was spacious, clean and had lovely decor. Some of our positives: closeness to beach and bike path (and katama general store!), 4 bathrooms plus outdoor shower, gas and charcoal grill and fire pit, washer/dryer in the main house AND east wing. Lovely yard, deck and gardens-visited occasionally by a lovely family of turkeys and bunnies, that was a sweet treat! The owner was very pleasant to deal with, incredibly responsive and has the house stocked with all the necessary items to ensure your stay is comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return again next year! show more show less

    Katama home

    We have been staying at this lovely home for years and just returned from another visit. We love Martha's Vineyard and the Katama neighborhood where this house is located is our favorite. It is quiet and beautiful and just a quick ride or walk to town or the beach. The house is spacious and comfortable and has a newly renovated kitchen. The outdoor space is gorgeous and I can never decide whether to sit on the lower deck, the upper deck, or in the screened in porch. All are great spots to watch the butterflies and wait for the turkeys to pass by! The kitchen and laundry are convenient and we usually choose to eat breakfast at home as well as one or two other meals as everything we need to cook is provided.     Fantastic home, you won't find better!!

    This home is an absolutely fantastic rental. It is spacious well appointed clean and tidy. The wonderfully newly remodeled kitchen has absolutely everything that an avid cook could require. The grounds are beautiful with lovely plantings, beautiful outdoor seating, and a great fireplace pit for after dinner fireside chats. The owner is very responsive, easy to work with and has really gone out of his way to make sure his home is welcoming and comfortable for his guests. Highly Recommended!!! we are looking forward to our stay next season! show more show less

    My wife and I have rented our Vineyard home since we bought the home in 1998 and have had many wonderful families spend their time and enjoy our home.

    What is special about this property?
    This is a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood, closely located to the beach and Edgartown. The home is situated on a lot with various gardens and sitting areas throughout the property. This is a well maintained and decorated home with annual improvements being made.

    Anyone who appreciates gardens and relaxing will appreciate this home.

    What is special about your town?
    The house is located in the Katama section of Edgartown which is a lovely quaint old whaling town. Bike paths are close by with easy access to Edgartown and South Beach.
