Spacious, contemporary, sunny, central air-conditioned home, centrally located within 5 minutes walking/biking distance to the Harbor, restaurants, and the beach. We are located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood surrounded by beautiful greenery all around us, and other beautifully maintained homes. Our home offers a large screened-in porch to relax and enjoy in the Spring, Summer and Fall.
There are 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. One bedroom is located on the first floor, with a queen size bed and flat screen TV. The first floor also has a full bathroom which is handicap accessible.
On the second floor, there are 4 additional bedrooms ( 3 with queen beds, and 1 with two twin beds), and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom has an en-suite full bathroom.
The kitchen has seating for 12, and is very well stocked with a microwave, toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker, waffle maker, pancake maker, and juicer. Next to the kitchen is a laundry room with a washer and dryer, ironing board and iron.
The sunny front to back living room features a gas fireplace and large flat screen TV with cable access. It also has french doors that lead to the back deck.
Enjoy the company of friends and family while lounging on the 16x33 back deck with built-in benches, Weber gas grill, outdoor table with additional seating, 11 foot solar umbrella and a privacy barrier. The deck can be accessed from the kitchen sliding door and living room, and offers nighttime lighting.
The backyard stone patio has a table with seating for four, an overhead umbrella and charcoal.
Martha’s Vineyard offers miles of public town beaches (we provide 10 beach chairs, and two coolers). In Oak Bluffs there is Town Beach (Includes the Inkwell), Sylvia State Beach and Eastville Beach. In Vineyard Haven, there is Lake Tashmoo Beach, Owen Park Beach and Tisbury Town Beach next to the Vineyard Haven Yacht Club. In Edgartown, there is South Beach, Lighthouse Beach, Norton Point Beach, Fuller Street beach and East Beach which is locate on Chappaquiddick Island.
A special mention of Menemsha beach which is located up island in Chilmark. It has gentle, pristine water, ideal for swimming. One of the highlights is the incredible view of the sunset! It is a very popular attraction on the island. Parking is limited so get there early. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the beach and public restrooms.
While in Aquinnah, visit the Gay Head Cliffs. The sights are breathtaking! There are local retail shops, small eateries and free parking. The drive up island from Oak Bluffs is about 25 minutes. If you don’t want to drive, you may take a bus from Ocean Park. There are round trips daily.
Last, but not least, Ocean Park is located just a few minutes away from our home. It is a great place to walk, run, picnic, bike, fly a kite, and enjoy the ocean views!
