We would absolutely stay here again. Beds and furniture are comfortable, neighborhood is quiet and well located, the backyard is sizable, and the house is roomy, bright, and extremely clean. Have a few meals in the backyard; it's fantastic. Walk to the beach and library (easily doable with the smallest of kids); downtown is less than a mile away. We are so glad we stayed in this home.

Marvelous Vineyard Stay...
This […] property was more than enough for two couples. It was charming, cozy and comfortable. It was clean and well stocked with towels, linens and a washer and dryer. The location was the perfect home base while we explored the entire island. The information book at the home proved very helpful and accurate as we enjoyed many recommended restaurants and sites. We were glad to have a car to take advantage of all of the very different parts of Martha's Vineyard but the Vineyard Haven shops and Ferry terminal were walkable from the property. We were not traveling with children, but the home was equipped to accommodate a family. We would highly recommend this location!

Great Weekend Trip!
This house was perfect for our Labor Day Weekend trip. We had more than enough space for the 4 of us guests. The house has tons of games and a huge backyard. We didn't know that this is in a "dry town," meaning there are no liquor stores. But, you are allowed a drink with a food item at local restaurants, and there are lots of neighboring towns you can reach by Uber or bike where drinking is welcomed! 10/10 would recommend this property!

Family friendly and walkable!
We had a very nice stay at this house. The property is well-stocked and super family friendly (lots of stuff for young kiddos!). The bedrooms/bathrooms are a little bit on the small side but worked perfectly for our group of 4 adults and two babies with competing nap schedules. So nice to be able to walk right into Tisbury as well. Danae was knowledgeable, accommodating and very responsive. Thanks for a good stay!

Our family of four, two grown children and two parents, stayed at this beautiful home for 8 days. Because it was a long weekend, stayed an extra day. The home is clean, has a great kitchen that is well equipped, and spacious. It is on a nice side street and you can ride your bike to town or walk to a lovely little beach near by. The owner is always available to answer questions and the house is well stocked with everything you need, besides perishables. We had a wonderful time and left feeling rested and restored.

Beautiful property located in Vineyard Haven. Close to town, comfy beds, clean kitchen and a great yard. Great reception and communication from the Host. Will definitely comeback.

Amazing home just as described in the listing. Easy walk to Vineyard Haven and the beach. Very clean and very bright home that was perfect for our family. We had a wonderful weekend and can't wait to return again!

This house was impeccably clean, well kept, tastefully and simply furnished and decorated (including some charming wall art by very young and creative artists!) , located about one mile outside of the center of Vineyard Haven on a quiet street a couple blocks away from the shore. The owners thoughtfully provided so many nice touches (e.g. plenty of cheerful kid friendly plastic ware that seemed new, a good selection of spices in the kitchen, a basic first aid kit, dryer balls for the dryer, a fine array of toys, games and books for all ages, even arts and crafts supplies), and avoided that "touristy" feel of some rentals - the feel was that of staying at the beloved home of a friend who thinks of everything. The compact kitchen was well equipped with good quality tools and cookware. The back yard is large, grassy and private feeling. We shared the house with two adults and one three year old and felt we had plenty of space. We were without a car and so appreciated that linens and nice beach towels were included. Our one minor suggestion to the owners would be to add thermal/sun-blocking window shades for the upstairs bedrooms, which got hot during the day (although our week was uncharacteristically hot and still) - but the plentiful fans helped at night. The owners were responsive and super easy to work with. An excellent experience all the way around.

I absolutely loved this home away from home. The house is so comfortable and convenient. The short walk to the beach or to town was perfect. It was nice to be able to out and do things without needing to drive. It's nice to know I could visit without a car since the house is so close to the ferry. Although close to town, the house is on a nice quiet street - great to be able to escape from the crowds.

Your home in Vineyard Haven provided the perfect retreat for me to get away and have the space to write and launch out on adventures. There is something very calming about the décor and the backyard was a great place to go out and just sit or swing in the hammock and look up at the sky. I felt very at home here and it was the perfect location from which to launch out to other destinations on the island. I was able to walk to town and the beach and to get my lobster rolls at Grace Church on Fridays. Although I was solo and had a ton of space I could see how great it would be to have a family or group of folks on the getaway. What I most enjoyed about my stay was your beautiful and wonderfully decorated home itself. The décor is soothing and simple, which I love. I also loved being so close to town so I could pop into Mocha Motts early every morning for my coffee! The house had everything I needed for a comfortable stay and you were great at answering my questions prior to my arrival.
