Walk everywhere! Our air-conditioned clean and comfortable, four bedroom, two bath house is just a few blocks from the Vineyard Haven ferry landing, Owens Park Beach, restaurants, and so much more. Come enjoy the beautiful Martha's Vineyard beaches and all the area has to offer.
The property is a 1600 sf, 2-story house in Vineyard Haven. You'll find it newly-painted and freshened with its own driveway for 3 cars. The house is in a great location. Main Street, Stop & Shop, The Black Dog Tavern, the MV Museum & a playground are all just a short walk away. Public transportation is close-by and you can always call for an Uber ride if needed.
Enter the house from the walkway, drop your keys, stash your stuff, and enjoy the open and airy air-conditioned 2-story living room with fireplace. Relax on a comfy couch, watch Smart TV with a few local channels or use your account info for Netflix sign-in or similar-type streaming service.
If you get hungry, the kitchen is filled with cookware and appliances for just about any cooking you may want to do. It includes a stove, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, blender, and more. There's always a bit of food and some snacks in the pantry for your arrival, enough to get you through a short while 'till you can get to the grocery store. As you'd expect, there's coffee, teas, and sweetners. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, and for some piece of mind, a touch-free motion sensor kitchen faucet.
The kitchen area has a generous peninsula counter which can seat up to 3 people. Open to the kitchen is a dining area with a table and chairs for eight people, a buffet / china cabinet with place settings for all. There's a coffee bar with some pantry space for your own supply of food. The kitchen /dining area has a Smart TV and Comcast cable so you can watch channels like CNN, CNBC, HGTV, ESPN, Golf, etc. (Comcast on this TV only)
Outside the kitchen / dining space, accessed through a set of sliding doors, is a large patio which gives you options on where to lounge including: a good-sized outdoor table and chairs for dining, a place for relaxing under a shaded arbor, and lounge chairs by the pool. Yes, you have that sparkling pool right off the patio for fun and relaxing! Plus there's a grassy area next to the pool, located in the back of the yard. Sorry to say we do not allow pets.
The pool has its own outdoor shower area, located on the side of the ''pool house'', which is technically just a nice, big shed where a few gardening tools and pool supplies are stored. Inside the shed there's a small refrigerator to keep your drinks cold while you're relaxing pool-side. The shed door can be kept open for easy access to the fridge, but please know that inside the shed is no place you'd want to ''hang out''.
Inside, four bedrooms have comfy beds which accommodate up to 8 people. Each bedroom has a smart TV so you can stream Netflix, etc. The fourth bedroom (originally a sun room) does have proper clothes storage, but not a closet. Both bedrooms downstairs have patio / pool access for your convenience.
The upper and lower-level bathrooms have modest-sized, tiled shower stalls. Both bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels. For your convenience, a full-sized washer/dryer is located in the lower bathroom.
Guest access
Rental is from Saturday to Saturday during the high season. Check-in time is at 3:00pm and before 10:00pm. Check-out time is 10:00am. We need to know the names of all guests saying at our home, and in addition all license plate numbers for cars to be parked in our driveway. At the end of your stay it would be helpful if you could text or call when you check-out so we can clean and prep for the next guests. No smoking, no vaping and no pets.
One more thing . . .please NO HUGE PARTIES - we have nice, quiet neighbors that we respect and like a lot, thank you!
