The house sits within the Mink Meadows Golf community on a wooded 2-acre lot where a short 6 minute walk (or 3 minute drive) takes you to 3,000 ft. of Private Association beach.

The beach is extra special with a wonderful, shallow, sandy protected area between the two jetties particularly well-suited for small children; all right next to the wonderful beach area on the Sound.
Rental of this property also includes access to another Private Association Beach in Aquinnah on the ocean-side of the Island.

If desired, a car reservation for the Ferry may be purchased from the Owner for the weeks of 6/29, 7/6, 8/24 and 8/31if these are rental time which you desire.
Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday, when the 7 night applies.

Mink Meadows is located near the West Chop Woods and Lake Tashmoo, and less than 2 miles from the center of Vineyard Haven.

It has three bedrooms, each with a its own full bath. These rooms provide sleeping for 8 (1 King, 1 Queen, 4 Twin). Additionally, there is an outdoor shower.

Available for use are two adult single kayaks, two adult bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, mask and fins, and other beach accessories.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas range with cooktop and oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and coffee maker; adjacent to the Kitchen is a Washer and Dryer.

The Living Room is open plan with seating for six on sofas/chairs in front of the fireplace, and a large table for up to ten in front of the bay window with a modest view of the Sound.

The Family Room has a Smart TV with ample seating provided by a large sectional sofa and bean bag chair.
The outside patio provides a peek of the water view where you can relax and watch the ferries cross the Vineyard Sound. On the patio you will find a table for six, additional seating for four, a Weber gas grill and gas fire pit.
Two Adirondack chairs provide seating in the back garden.

The property accommodates parking for three vehicles.

Linens, bath towels and beach towels are provided.

    "5/5...Over the course of our two weeks in this home, we came to love its organization, the communication with the owner and the extent to which the property had everything imaginable for whatever may come up. Everything that we might want for the beach - there. Everything that we wanted for cooking - there. Need to print a document? There. Our hosts Matt and Lisa put a lot of care into making everything convenient. Even the House Book - which I rarely read, was engaging. The layout of the house was great for our three generation family. The view of the back yard crowned by the occasional ferry passing by was captivating.     "5/5...Perfect Stay in Mink Meadows!...This is one of our favorite places to stay, for so many reasons: excellent location; friendly and responsive owners; spacious house; fabulous amenities (especially the keyed access to private beaches, kayaks, beach float toys, chairs, etc.); cheerful sun/TV room; beautiful grounds; comfortable, new bed in the master bedroom; and view of the water in the distance (to see the ferries come and go).     Our Family has been enjoying the Vineyard now for seven generations, and look forward to helping make your stay as enjoyable and memorable as possible. We are available before, during and after your time at our home to answer any questions you may have to help you.

    What is special about this property?
    Our home, while located just a short distance from Vineyard Haven, has a very private feel to it in that it is located within the Mink Meadows community where all homes are on wooded lots no less than two acres. It's private feel is further reinforced by the over 3,000 feet of beachfront with dedicated parking. Additionally the Home is located within walking distance (six minutes) to the Beach, which gives great flexibility by allowing folks to ''come and go'' as they please without necessitating the use or parking of a vehicle.

    What is special about your town?
    While ''Down-Island'', and close to Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs, many folks comment that our Home has an ''Up-Island''/Rural feel due to the private setting of the house, and being so close to the Private Association Beach helps reinforce that feeling.
