    Vineyard Haven House

    The house is minutes from the Boat, stores and shops in the center of Town. The Kitchen and All of the Bathrooms have modern equipment and fixtures. And the living area has the charm of what makes the island special. This house offers the best of both worlds. The place was stocked like nothing i have seen in all my time traveling to the Vineyard. The owner was very graceful and amenable in everything she did. My kids left a bunch of items and she took the time to mail them to me. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a comfortable get away on the Vineyard. show more show less

    Great Home - Great Experience

    Our stay at this home was great for our family of 5 (2 adults & 3 teens). It is a clean, bright, woodsy space that wraps you in comforting quiet, and is equipped with all the comforts to make your stay hassle-free. So much of the house is newly-renovated. The kitchen was a fun, easy place to make and share meals. The outside deck was simply lovely and the hammock was a plus for us on lazy mornings. The bedrooms are comfy and the bathrooms are well-appointed. The owners, Rebekah and Bill, even go so far as to provide toiletries and access to beach towels, beach chairs, first aid supplies and more. They are also super responsive — no text was left unanswered. I would stay there again without hesitation. show more show less

    Comfortable home, great location!

    We had a wonderful stay in Vineyard Haven. When we arrived at Holly Tree Lane we found the house to be comfortable and very clean. The kitchen is brand new and the bathrooms were recently updated...very nice! The home is comfortable and very family friendly. We spent lots of time on the back deck, the hammock is a great touch! There is a small beach within walking distance and downtown is a 1 mile walk. Be sure to watch the sunset at West Chop, it's absolutely breathtaking! We hope to visit this lovely home again next summer! show more show less

    This home has been in our family since 1983.
    I have been coming to island since birth 58 years ago. We have just completed a year long renovation and our proud to share this home with our guests.

    What is special about this property?
    When you vacation on the island it is a very different experience than being on the mainland. The islanders are in no rush and neither should you be. Relax on the huge back deck with a good book. Take a stroll down to the local small beach and watch the boats come and go into the harbor or launch your own canoe or kayak. Walk to the west chop overlook and see the most spectacular sunsets. If you are a cook your in luck the local produce, fish and meat is amazing. Pick up the staples at stop and shop or Cronigs and then go local for the rest. So many places to sit and relax in this open concept ranch or take a hike in the west chop woods on our street or run the chop in a loop from our front door. Just a two minute drive into downtown Vineyard Haven or rent a bike and explore. This home is a convenient to everything just a mile out of town.

    What is special about your town?
    Vineyard Haven is the first town many see after getting off ferry. Everything you want is in this town. First Fridays(first Friday of the month) has local food trucks and music at Owen park. Beach road festival is behind the post office offering three days of music and food at the end of August. The library has fun for kids on rainy days. There is mini golf , great restaurants and ice cream at mad Martha's.
