We truly enjoyed our week at this beautiful Vineyard Haven home. We were a group of 10 across three families, and the house could not have worked better for us. The property is modern, beautifully decorated, extremely well maintained, and thoughtfully appointed throughout. You can tell that a great deal of care has gone into making the home both beautiful and genuinely comfortable for guests.

One of the biggest standouts was the kitchen. We've rented other vacation homes over the years, and this was easily one of the best-stocked kitchens we've encountered. It had everything we needed to comfortably prepare and serve meals for a large group—and then some. Beyond the basic cookware and utensils you expect in a rental, there were so many additional serving pieces, kitchen tools, and other thoughtful items that made it easy to cook larger dinners and host friends and family.

The layout and overall flow of the house were equally impressive. With 10 people staying for a full week, there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out without ever feeling disconnected. Even on a rainy day when our entire group spent most of the day at home, we never felt as though we were on top of one another. There are comfortable spaces throughout the house for people to gather together or do their own thing.

The sleeping and bathroom arrangements also worked very well for multiple families. There is a bedroom with an en suite bath, four additional bedrooms and two bathrooms on the second floor, and ample additional space on the third floor. The third floor was especially nice for the younger folks, who had a space of their own to hang out. We also really appreciated the half bath off the kitchen, particularly when we had friends visit, since guests didn't need to use one of the bathrooms connected to the sleeping areas. The separate cooling units throughout the house were another great feature, allowing everyone to keep their respective spaces comfortable.

The outdoor spaces were just as enjoyable. The back deck is fantastic, with more than enough seating for our entire group between the large sectional, dining table, and additional chairs. There are also two umbrellas, a spacious yard, fire pit, and outdoor shower. The large front porch with rocking chairs provided yet another great place to relax. There was plenty of parking for our group as well.

Overall, the house really exceeded our expectations. From the decor and artwork to the modern finishes, comfortable furnishings, thoughtful amenities, and abundance of indoor and outdoor space, it felt like a home rather than simply a vacation rental. It was incredibly well suited for three families traveling together and made our week on Martha's Vineyard that much more enjoyable.

In terms of geography - getting to the main area of VH was minutes away, and even walkable if desired. Getting to other parts of the island were easily accessible, as well.

We would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it, especially for families or larger groups looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and exceptionally well-equipped home on the Vineyard. show more show less

Segun was an absolute pleasure to work with, and the home was wonderful for our family. It feels like a newer build and offers surprisingly generous bonus space, which made it especially comfortable for a larger group. The house sleeps and accommodates everyone well, with plenty of room for family members to spread out and feel at home.

The location is also excellent. It is conveniently located in Vineyard Haven, within walking and biking distance of downtown, and biking to Oak Bluffs is certainly possible for those who enjoy riding. It is a great space for a large family, and Segun was very easy and gracious to work with. show more show less

So happy we had the opportunity to add share your Legacy home for a week. Love what you have built and our friends and family enjoyed making another summer of memories. Kudos to the decorator, kitchen planner (stocker) and cleaning team. Everything was thoughtful, comfortable and well done.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Legacy House. The house exceeded our expectations. The house is beautifully decorated, roomy, and can comfortably host at least 10 individuals. The location is close to downtown Vineyard Haven, local shops, grocery store, the ferry and a short drive to beaches and Oaks Bluff. Parking was not an issue. We enjoyed the using the outdoor grills and fire pit.

We look forward to our next visit.

I cannot stay enough about this beautiful home. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. The home was clean and had everything that I needed, including things that I did not think to bring the rooms were spacious each room had his own controlled AC unit. All appliances were up-to-date and in great working condition there was plenty of outdoor space for us to barbecue and sit around the fire pit, which was provided I truly enjoyed my stay. Animal will definitely be back.
